Memorable Day Trip - Yassir was everything we wanted in a tour guide and then some. He had an encyclopaedic knowledge about Oman, and shared with us all about this fascinating country. His pride for his country surely came through. He took us a on a tour of the incredible forts and castles that made this country, and we were deeply immersed into its storied past and influences. We had asked for a local place instead of an expensive touristy spot for lunch, and Yassir delivered. You'll definitely be in great hands when Yassir is at the wheel.

Awesome tour guide! - I recently booked two private day trips with Oman Landscape Tours, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the experience. The first trip focused on Oman’s rich history, covering Nizwa, Nizwa Souq, Nizwa Fort, Bahla Fort, and Jabreen Castle. Each stop was fascinating, and the tour gave me a deep appreciation for the country’s cultural heritage. The second trip was tailored to my request to have lunch at the Anantara Hotel in the mountains, and it included a visit to the historical village of Al-Sugra - Sayq. Reaching this remote village was challenging, as the roads are narrow and covered with crushed rocks, requiring a special vehicle. Thankfully, the driver, Said, was exceptional—highly experienced, skilled, and knowledgeable about the terrain. Recommended tour outside of Muscat - Booked this tour through Viator and when I started writing to them asking for the details of my guide for pickup, they responded immediately. Our guide, Khalil also reached out to me via WhatsApp the day before my tour to reconfirm my pickup time and pickup location (my hotel), which is what I always appreciate to ensure that everything starts off smoothly. Khalil is very professional, alert and knowledgeable. He also ensured that our needs were met. A nice surprise was fresh Omani bread that he treated us to at the Nizwa Fort, which was freshly made. This tour was relaxing and as it’s private, we were able to move at our own pace. Khalil did not once rush us and allowed us to have as much exploring time as we would like. All in all I would recommend this tour, especially if it’s your first time to Oman.
