• Høgsandmelen 5 - Experience our dog sledding adventure just a 45-minute drive from Tromsø, at the entrance to the Lyngen Alps. This location offers breathtaking views of the impressive mountain peaks (reaching up to 1400 meters!) and the fjord simultaneously!

The tour includes 60 minutes of exhilarating dogsledding along scenic, tree-lined trails and open landscapes. Before setting off, participants will receive a briefing on sled handling. It’s quite manageable, as the dogs are enthusiastic to run and follow the team ahead. During the journey, participants will take on the role of musher, becoming part of a team with their dogs. The traveling companion will sit on the sled, with a switch in positions halfway through. Our guides will lead groups of 3-4 guest teams each. Solo participants may be paired with another solo adventurer or one of our guides.

After the thrilling experience, guests can warm up by the fireplace and enjoy a hot lunch and beverages. Breivikeidet is home to a large population of moose and reindeer during the summer. Guests will hear stories about the Moose, the Alaska Huskies, and the daily lives of our four-legged friends.

Journey to a husky farm nestled in the wilderness surrounding Tromsø, where you will be introduced to enthusiastic huskies. Climb into your sled for an exhilarating ride across the stunning arctic terrain, dashing through the pristine winter landscape. Upon returning to the husky farm, enjoy a warm bowl of soup and hot beverages before heading back to Tromsø.
