Tandayapa - we leave Nono to Tandayapa these 25 kilometers, for beginners; downhill is the transition from the mountain to the Cloud Forest. In Tandayapa we will make a brief stop to eat something and hydrate ourselves.

The bike adrenaline-filled expedition commences at your base in Quito, heading towards Nono Parish - the starting point of our thrilling 57 kilometers cycling journey to Mindo. We’ll set off from Nono towards Tandayapa, a downhill 25 kilometers route suitable for beginners, transitioning from the mountains to the Cloud Forest. At Tandayapa, a quick snack and hydration break is planned. The next 8 kilometers stretches from Tandayapa to Bellavista, which consists of uphill cycling. Don’t worry! A support bus is on standby if fatigue sets in so you can take in the scenic surroundings, and then rejoin the biking at any point of your choosing. At Bellavista, we return to downhill cycling, spotting San Tadeo along the way, until we hit tarmac that guides us into Mindo. A swift 10 minute cycle later, you’ll find yourself by the river for a refreshing dip in the Rio de Mindo. After having a bite to eat in Mindo, we set off back to Quito, anticipated to reach by about 6:00 p.m. It’s a day packed with adventure and excitement.
