Observed TWO groups of humpbacks - wonderful and amazing! - My friend and I joined Peppie & Albie, along with 8 other passengers, on their small but fast boat to go whale watching. We didn't have to go too far before we encountered a group of 3 humpbacks - mother, calf and an escort (male/female) - so exciting! They were smacking the water with their fins - a form of communication with other whales, and also to strengthen the calf before the long trip down to Antarctica. It was so amazing to see them, we were fairly close - they were curious and stayed near the boat, then we followed them as they moved off. We were able to observe them for a good amount of time, before we headed further out to sea (Hastings St beach was still visible). We came across a 2nd group of 3, again a mother, a calf and an escort. The calf was younger than the first and its head breached the water a couple of times, we also clearly saw a tail! Peppie gave us lots of interesting information on the whales and their behaviours - they are researchers and provide universities with data. The 2 hrs on the boat was just the right amount of time, not too long, not too short. The sea was choppy, so if you tend to sea sickness, it's a good idea to take something for it before you go. The boat is small, just enough padded bench seating for 10 passengers, with an overhead roof for shade. It goes quite fast, which is fun when you're heading out to sea and coming back in. You may get damp from a bit of sea spray and if you're down the back of the boat, your feet will get wet (I wore sandals). Water is NOT provided, but Peppie gave us all a very nice gingernut biscuit at the end of the trip, which was very much appreciated. All in all, a wonderful experience, 10/10.

Whalesong Noosa Whale Watching - Pepe and Alby were incredible tour guides, very knowledgeable and friendly. It was the most amazing experience to see a mother and baby whale! We took our three young children (8, 7 and 4) and they loved it. 2 hours was the perfect length for little kids. Would 100% do this again!

Fantastic whale watch trip on Whalesongs Noosa - Fantastic trip. Peppie and Alby were great hosts. They are very considerate towards the whales and Peppie’s knowledge, as a researcher, of the whales was exceptional. It was a privilege to be out with them. We saw several whales including a mother and calf along with a support whale. I highly recommend this trip.
