• Gjesvaerstappan Nesting Cliffs, Nordkapp - We board our comfortable boat and journey 15 kilometers west to the famous Gjesværstappan Nature Reserve. Just ten minutes into the cruise, we’ll arrive at the bird cliffs, where the diverse arctic wildlife begins to unfold. To stay warm and cozy, arctic suits are available onboard, and complimentary coffee, biscuits, and a selection of souvenirs enhance the experience. Feel free to wander around the deck, ask questions, or even chat with the captain. Restroom facilities are available for your convenience.

Wildlife Encounters and Birdwatching

Get ready for close encounters with one of Norway’s most diverse seabird populations! The Gjesværstappan Reserve hosts vast colonies of puffins and kittiwakes. These delightful puffins, easily recognized by their colorful beaks, nest in burrows across the grassy hills. The nesting season, from April to September, brings the cliffs to life with activity. You might even spot White-tailed Eagles soaring above, hunting along the cliffs.

• Honningsvag - Keep an eye out for guillemots, razorbills, cormorants, Arctic skuas, fulmars, and gannets as well—all part of the vibrant ecosystem here.

After our immersive boat excursion, we return to Gjesvær, where you’ll have a moment to enjoy the village’s peaceful charm before heading back to Honningsvåg.
