Ingieråsen - The hike leads to a viewpoint offering breathtaking views of the lake, mountains, and extending all the way to Oslo city and the Oslofjord. It’s an ideal location for photography or simply soaking in the beauty. The journey continues with a descent to a beautiful lake.

Gjersjøen - At the lake, there is a pause to savor some light Norwegian snacks and a beverage. During summer, participants can swim in the refreshing water, which is around 20°C. Swimsuits and towels are recommended for those wishing to swim. In winter, walking on the frozen lake is possible if conditions permit.

Solbråtan stasjon - Following the break, the hike ascends and exits the forest, leading into a welcoming Norwegian neighborhood before concluding the tour at the train station.

The founder of Oslonature is a local guide with extensive knowledge of the forest, familiar with every hidden trail and secret spot.
Participants will embark on a hike along forest trails featuring uneven terrain and a few hills. By Norwegian standards, this is considered an easy hike—accessible to most, with all participants having completed it without any issues. The adventure starts with a brief 5-minute walk from the train station to the forest’s edge. From there, the group ascends to a scenic viewpoint at 153 meters above sea level. After taking in the view, the hike descends to a tranquil lake for a relaxing break.
After the break, the hike continues uphill, eventually leading out of the forest and back to another train station, where participants can catch a direct ride back to Oslo. This loop trail offers a variety of landscapes throughout the hike. Along the way, participants will also get a glimpse of local life and experience life outside the city.
