Gjersjøen - At the lake, there will be a pause to savor some light Norwegian snacks and a refreshing drink. During the summer, the opportunity to swim in the pristine water, which is around 20°C, is available. Participants should bring a swimsuit and towel if they wish to swim. In winter, walking on the frozen lake is possible if conditions permit.

Solbråtan stasjon - Following the break, the hike continues uphill and out of the forest, leading into a welcoming Norwegian neighborhood before concluding the tour at the train station.

The founder of Oslonature is a local guide with extensive knowledge of the forest, familiar with every hidden trail and secret spot.
Participants will embark on a hike along forest trails featuring uneven terrain and a few hills. By Norwegian standards, this is considered an easy hike—accessible to most, with all participants having completed it without any issues. The adventure starts with a brief 5-minute walk from the train station to the forest’s edge. From there, the group ascends to a scenic viewpoint at 153 meters above sea level. After taking in the view, the hike descends to a tranquil lake for a relaxing break.
After the break, the hike continues uphill, eventually leading out of the forest and back to another train station, where participants can catch a direct ride back to Oslo. This loop trail offers a variety of landscapes throughout the hike. Along the way, participants will also get a glimpse of local life and experience life outside the city.
