Rally Point to Base Camp One

Lulea - On the first day, participants will gather at 9am in the Lobby of the Clarion Hotel in Lulea for introductions and a Safety Briefing. Departure for the initial basecamp is scheduled between 10am and 10:30am. Upon arrival at the first campsite, located near the picturesque Pita River just above the rapids, participants will explore various types of tents, hammocks, and bivvy shelters, learning their advantages and disadvantages before selecting one to “test drive.” Instruction on setting up each type will be provided before choosing a campsite. All sleeping systems and shelters are included for the entire stay, with the option to try different types each night or stick with a preferred choice. The focus is on ensuring a comfortable and rewarding experience.

Nature Fluency: Awareness, Tracking, and Movement

Norrbotten - After a morning breakfast in camp, participants will venture into the forest to experience slowing their pace, enhancing their senses, and interpreting the landscape. This will lead to developing tracking skills and moving with fluidity before heading to one of Sweden’s most breathtaking geological and natural playgrounds, Storfosen.

Lulea - During the debriefing session, participants will enjoy their final taste of Sweden as a group before visiting shops and being dropped off at their next destination.
