Do The North. - This was a life changing experience for me. Our main guide Katia was experienced and friendly and despite some challenging weather conditions, I felt safe and supported on the water. The food was excellent, the company was great and the whole experience was worth every penny! Whether you are a novice kayaker or experienced you are made to feel welcome and special. If you want some adventure then look no further than 'Do The North.' Extremely well organised. This company knows what they are doing for sure!

One of our best holidays ever - An amazing tour with Katha and Manu in June 2025, full of highlights. And since it was the Midsummer Tour, there was a fantastic surprise—an absolute bucket-list event—the Midsummer celebration in a small village with local residents, followed by a Midsummer dinner that we, as a team (participants and guides), prepared and celebrated together. Katha and Manu gave us a wonderful time with great confidence, joy, cheerfulness, and excellent organization. It’s especially worth highlighting that the two of them are a well-coordinated team. You feel well-informed at all times. There’s a strong focus on safety and, even more so, on making everyone feel comfortable, have fun, and see their individual expectations fulfilled as best as possible. We did a similar kayak tour with Do the North and Katha two years ago, and can highly recommend this tour. I traveled with my two adult children, and they loved every aspect of the experience. Pure fun and variety—out of the everyday routine, into adventure, into the nature that completely enchanted us. The abundance of islands, the wildlife, camping in the forest—on islands where we were always completely alone. It was perfect from start to finish. We’d repeat the trip anytime. Do the North provides top-quality equipment (boats, tents, complete camping gear), which offers excellent comfort in every regard. Thanks to Katha, Manu, and the entire Do the North team, who do a great job behind the scenes as well.

Kayaking in the Swedish archipelago - Just wanted to get out into nature and let it affect me. Hence a kayak tour booked with Do the North. Picked up on time at the agreed pick-up point in Norrköping and returned at the end of the tour. The tour is really worth it. In addition to the impressions of the landscape, we were spoiled by Katha and Manu also culinary. We spent great hours together and laughed a lot. In addition, they always took time to answer questions on different topics. Anyone who was interested was allowed to benefit from their experiences regarding navigation, paddle technique, camping etc. as they gladly passed on their knowledge and experience to us. It is up to everyone themselves whether they want to do so and is not forced upon them. They also gave you a lot of freedom if you wanted to do something else and were very flexible there. I was allowed to experience really great days that I will not forget.

Just do it. Do the North!! - I have to give 10 stars!! Five stars for this year’s trip and five stars for last year’s trip. Yes, I am a repeat guest! All the way from Seattle, USA. I had such a great time last year that I came back with a friend this year. Our great staff, Katha and Manu, made sure that we all connected and worked as a team as we explored the St Anna and Gryt Archipelagos. I hope to come back next year with more American sea kayaking friends to do a self guided trip. If you are reading this but are still undecided, don’t worry, just go ahead and put down your deposit. You will be well taken care of no matter if you have been kayaking for years or are a total novice. Hope to see you again next year.

Amazing experience, recommend to all!! - One of the best trips I've been on - I can't fault anything. Beautiful scenery, stunning wild camping on tiny islands with super comfy tents and delicious food. Our guides Katha and Manu were great and so much fun to be around and they really made the trip special. Everything was so well organised, which made for a really relaxing and easygoing trip. We saw beautiful sunrises and sunsets, and were blessed with the weather for 5 days. Even in a smaller group - there were only 2 of us paddling and 2 guides, this just meant we could paddle further and camp on smaller islands, and we made up for it with more than enough laughs round the campsite. The food was sensational too - who knew you could make french toast on a trangia?! - and from Swedish Fika everyday to barbecued pepper steak at sunset, if there's one thing you'll never be on this trip, it's hungry. So many unforgettable moments, and a huge thank you to Katha and Manu for making it such a great experience for us!!

Five days of Magic - Kayaking and Camping in a beautiful Swedish Archipelago - What a wonderful trip - five magic days of kayaking with glorious weather and five star camping with very comfortable tents, incredibly delicious food and the best guides ever - Thomas and Pablo who made everything relaxed, easy and fun. The scenery was spectacular, and we barely saw any other humans the whole trip - apart from our group! We were spoilt by glorious vistas, beautiful still mornings with the mist rising from the water and the most surreal glowing sunsets. It felt like stepping back into the most adventurous childhood - where you could paddle your kayak, with everything you needed and then choose your island and set up your tent with a beautiful view of the archipelago. The true test of any guided adventure is the Guide and Thomas and Pablo were superb, a brilliant combination of being relaxed, yet capable, funny but competent and also both so entertaining, knowledgeable and hospitable. We all loved listening to their stories and their passion for Sweden and the archipelago bubbles to the surface at all times. The kayaking was easy, aided by the very good weather and the last two nights were just magical with breathtaking sunsets that only improved with Pablo’s musical talent. I have memories from this trip that will stay with me forever and the icing on the cake was the spectacular display of the Northern Lights - totally unexpected but other worldly incredible. It was a dream trip and it’s made me want to do more in both Sweden 🇸🇪 and with these incredible guides. Pablo and Thomas - you are both truly rock stars! Thank you from a very grateful group - “Just Around the Corner”

Glorious Five Days Kayaking with the Best Guides! - We had a really wonderful time on the five day guided kayak and camping trip with Do the North. The scenery was stunning, the camping was top notch - having been on quite a few camping trips, the tents were first class and we slept so well. The food was brilliant- healthy, tasty and nutritious and the guides - Thomas and Pablo were amazing and really made the trip, with their stories, humour, hospitality and competence. I absolutely loved being totally immersed in nature for five days and it was wonderful to learn more about Sweden and the kayaking was never hard or difficult - though we did have good weather. The icing on the cake were the incredible sunsets - which seemed almost surreal at times and then we were treated to a spectacular view of the Northern Lights - just magical. It’s made me want to explore Sweden and the north more. Thank you Thomas and Pablo for a glorious trip - you are both total rock stars !

Exceeded all my expectations - Honestly this trip exceeded all my expectations ... and I was already expecting to love it! Our group seemed to hit it off from the moment we all introduced ourselves, and the conversation and laughter were already flowing before we'd even launched the first kayak. Our guides, Thomas and Pablo, were totally awesome - fun, friendly, welcoming, relaxed, full of information about the archipelago (plus all sorts of adventures further afield) and endless stories! They somehow made everything run insanely smoothly while also always feeling spontaneous and laid back, and our every need was provided for (and then some). I'll never erase the image of Pablo sitting cross-legged on the rocks, his flute echoing across the water into an exquisite sunset, or the "sexomophone" 😅drifting through the woods at our crayfish party. The scenery was stunning (literally just one perfect island after another) and we were blessed with incredible weather; mirror-calm seas, tons of sunshine, mild temperatures, misty mornings, lighting storms, atmospheric rain showers ... and the crowning jewel: a totally unexpected display of northern lights - bonus bucket list item checked off!! We ate sooooo much amazing food (do NOT expect to diet on this trip 🤣) and I genuinely didn't want it to end. Wish I was back there right now. I think it probably speaks volumes that at least half of us are already plotting to return for the winter trip! Thank you all so much. Bestest last minute adventure decision in years.
