Senaru - Trekking Rinjani to Crater rim Senaru 2 days itinerary :
Day 1:
After an early breakfast we register at the Rinjani Trek Centre in Senaru (601 m) before commencing our trek. The trail initially passes through dense tropical forest. We stop at Pos 1 and Pos 2, pausing for rest breaks and snacks. At Pos 3 (2,000 m) we stop for a longer break for lunch. After lunch we continue the trek to the crater rim. As we climb higher forest is replaced by grassland and the trail becomes increasingly steep. We camp the night at Senaru Crater Rim (2,641 m) with amazing views of the sunset, Mount Agung in Bali and the Gili Islands, the summit of Mount Rinjani, Lake Segara Anak and Gunung Baru, the small volcanic cone within the crater.
Day 2:
We enjoy the sunrise and a leisurely breakfast before commencing our return trek to Senaru. We pause for several rest and snack breaks on the way, stopping at Pos 2 for a longer lunch break. We arrive in Senaru at approximately 1pm, from where you will be transported to your next destination.

Best experience ever! - The most challenging yet rewarding experience! I can't rate these guys high enough. Our guides and porters gave us the most wonderful experience. Patient, encouraging, fun and supportive. Thank you again for everything! ❤️

Extraordinary tour to the top with the best view ever in Lombok - Accidentally we booked this trip but wanted to go to the top and it turned out in the morning before start but the organizer was very kind and did his best to fix our mistake.
The tour to the top is really heavy and requires focus and commitment.
Sleeping on the mountain is fun! Porters cooked really delicious food all the time so we had enough energy. But better to bring lots of snacks to have more!
Our tour guide was Pendi, with good English and described everything we wanted to know.
With my friend we recommend this trip for everyone who wants to challenge themselves and to see something beautiful from the top!

Excellent travel for your private trip - Thank you for arranging the Rinjani trip. 2d/1n was the perfect package for my schedule. I would highly recommend Adi Trekker for a private trip arrangement to Rinjani Summit, they got it all covered!!
- The porter team was kind and friendly, very strong and responsive (and walked fast 👍). All needs were planned and executed perfectly. The food was delicious, healthy, and tailored to requests.
- Adi was responsive and communicative to all questions during the preparation, making the trip comfortable.
- The resort arranged was super comfortable with very helpful staff and matched the schedule. The resort was awesome, not to be underestimated.
- Ian the documenter really pushed to the limit to ensure the documentation was achieved. With his struggles and thin jacket, he still made it to the summit.
- Transportation, administration, and everything else were perfect.
- Most of all, the guide was top-notch. Mas Cakra was indeed an excellent guide. He catered to the customer's needs, arranged everything to make the guests comfortable, gave tips for passing sandy areas, was very experienced on the trail, cleaned up trash (including monkey trash) on the way, was fun to run downhill with, and was very humble and helpful.
Overall, it was a great short break for me, well planned, well executed, and well worth the effort to fly to Rinjani. Thank you to the entire team involved in this trip.

A little trekking getaway to the beautiful volcano rim - Had a couple days time during my visit to Lombok so decided to book a short 2D1N trek to Mount Rinjani rim. This is the easier one as we don't go all the way to the summit.
Was a quiet day, so just me and my guide Lim and our porter Tedi in our party, though there were other parties going up and down those days. Overall, not too crowded, which was just fine for me.
The weather was excellent, on the day up it was a bit cloudy but it gave breathtaking vistas marked by layers of distance. The second day we got as clear as it gets so a different experience going down too.
Lim and Tedi did great job helping along the way (they cook, and setup camps and everything). Still you should be at least moderately fit to take up this challenge. My leg muscles were aching even several days after the experience, but it was all worth it!
Just note that this package doesn't include transport between Mataram or elsewhere you might be staying and the foot of the mountain, so you have to sort the transport out yourself. It's about 30 euros from downtown Mataram if you take a taxi. The tour organizer can help you call a return car, usually just somebody in the village, and you can pay them. Or you can opt for one of the other packages that includes pickup and drop-off.

Tolles Team und eine unvergessliche Wanderung - We have done the two days 1 night Tour to the Rim. The Trip was perfectly organised and we would absolutely recommend this company!
-Communication was fast and friendly
- We got picked up and got transferred to our next destination after the trip
- Porters and our Guide where perfectly preparee, really friendly and was caring for us all the time.
We would book again!

Rinjani trekking - I just want to say that thank you so much for this wonderful trip and I had an amazing tour guide Safar, not only he is extremely patient with me but he is very supporting and encouraging. I had the best experience so far, the trekking wasn’t easy but I made with my team mate, the view at the rim was so beautiful, you could see the volcano, sunset and sunrise up there.
Also shout out to the porters who carried our food / water / tents etc , you guys are also amazing and cooked the most amazing food.
Lastly, I highly recommend this company to anyone, they really do take care of you very well and make sure you are safe and well.

Well organized, great experience - Great experience, well organized, great guide. Joined a group and got a private tent at the crater rim. Great food. Short trip to the waterfall the day before the hike was also great.

The most humbling experience, a MUST DO. - Wow, let me tell you.. WHAT AN EXPERIENCE. Shout out to Benji our guide and the 3 amazing porters. Our team went above and beyond. Everything is 5/5 for us, the service, the food, the company, the experience. It’s a MUST DO. You will go through a lot of mental and physical challenges but it will be worth it for the view at the top. It’s not for the faint hearted this trek to crater is still HARD. The night time can be very windy/scary.
We will be back to do the summit! Thank you team !!!

Do your research, there are better options - I am going to write a more honest review than I usually would because I feel duped by the positive reviews this company has. It was overall a below average service that they provided. There are better companies that we saw on the trek so make sure you do your research instead of trusting viator like I did. The hike is amazing. This is a review of the company.
Pros
- amazing guide, silo was a young man that helped me a lot on the trek and tried to answer our questions the best he could. On the way down he picked up a whole bag of rubbish that other ppl had left behind. (The maintenance of this route is a whole other topic that really needs attention.)
- plenty of food and hot drinks along the way
- we were staying in senaru the night before and got a pickup and drop off included
Cons
- equipment: I am putting this first because this alone should turn you away from booking this company. The tent and rain fly we slept in was so old that the zippers didn’t close properly. We saw some really nice tents at the campsite that you can tell are new and sturdy but not ours. Through the course of the very cold and windy night, both the rain fly and tent’s zippers became undone and we were basically sleeping with no protection. This is not something that should be skimped on, and after a really tiring hike it is the last thing that should happen.
- there is a man at the office that is plain rude. Unlike other agencies this one doesn’t charge you upfront for the national park fee, so you are supposed to read the fine print in the confirmation and have 300,000idr cash on the day. This seems like an illogical way to go about business, and when he approached us to ask for the money, he was disrespectful and condescending, assuming that we did not know about the fee and would argue with him. It was a distasteful way to start our day.
