Senaru Village - At 7:00 am, the operator will pick you up from your hotel and drive to the starting point of the trek in Sembalun village, arriving around 8:00 am. The trek begins with a gentle ascent through an open meadow. After approximately 2 hours of walking, the group will reach Post 1 (1300m), followed by another 40 minutes to reach Post 2 (1500m), where lunch will be taken. Afterward, the trek continues to Post 3 (1800m).
After a rest, the journey proceeds to the Sembalun crater rim (2639m), which involves a 3-hour trek including a prolonged steep climb. The group will camp overnight on the crater rim, enjoying the views of both sunrise and sunset.
Day 2:
The group will wake up around 2:00 am under the cover of darkness, enjoying a hot drink and a light breakfast. The ascent to the summit of Rinjani begins at 3:00 am.
By 6:00 am, the summit (3726 m) is reached, offering a stunning sunrise and panoramic views of Lombok Island, Bali Island, Sumbawa Island, and Segara Anak Lake.
Afterward, the group will descend to the campsite, a 2-hour trek down, and have breakfast. The descent to Sembalun continues, taking approximately 5 hours to complete.

Terima Kasih !! - This agency deserves to be known and recognized! The entire organization went perfectly for this high mountain trek. Special mention to our guide Ajes who was always calm and reassuring even during the sporty moments, he and his team knew how to take care of us in joy and good humor for two days. The meals (multiple and substantial) were worthy of a good warung. All the conditions are met to allow you to be at your best!

SOLO and YOLO - Went solo and was grouped with other solos from different companies. Really thankful for them having this option as some companies had a minimum requirement or the private option which would have cost alot. Sultan also arranged a comfortable stay the night before plus transport from picking up at the habour to the mountains and back was pretty smooth. Meals were great and we had different variety food at every meal. 2 person per tent and fret not they have solo tents too if there are odd numbers. Overall, had a great time and Rinjani was cleaner than I imagined. There's makeshift tent for toilets now. Also, received a little souvenir for completing the hike too with my name embedded on it. Really touched from this company. Can't recommend enough!

Epic Hike with Cakrawala Rinjani! - Our experience with Cakrawala Rinjani Trekking was great!
Mr Sultan was very responsive and made it nice and easy to book. Our accommodation on the first night was basic but clean and the hosts were very welcoming.
Our guide was legend Edi who did a great job at getting us to the top of my Rinjani! We could not thank him enough. Porters did an amazing job of getting supplies up and down the mountain and having the tents ready for us when it started raining when we got to camp. The food was full of vegetables and gave us energy to complete the hike!
It was disappointing to see the state of the base camp as it is full of rubbish. But it was very good to see that the Cakrawala crew took all their rubbish with them and Edi went to the extra effort to pick up rubbish on the way down the mountain.
Would recommend this hike but be warned it is very hard! As we went in December it rained in the early evening which just made for more epic views and less dust. The views are worth it at the top!

Amazing trip 2Days to the Top - We went the trek to Rinjani Summit with Cakrawala Rinjani, we are 4 people booked the package from TripAdvisor, Sultan the mans from Senaru Village the owner on this company they have 4 team one guide and 3 porter for carrying our tent, Matras , sleeping bag , foods, water etc. the Porter cooking was delicious, Trekking equipment was so clean, my trip was great experience. Highly recommended for any want the hike to Rinjani mountain.

Mount Rinjani is not a walk in the park! - We did 2nights and 3days adventure! Tiring but what an exhilarating journey especially the Mt Rinjani summit at sunrise. Sultan the owner, a very humble guy, we had last minute change of our mountain guide due to circumstances but all went well. Rain our guide is good and steady (with newly train guide Udi and 2porters who cook our food fresh) . Thank you Cakrawala , great team! Already refer to friends!-Faizul&Maddy

Great Experience Trek - We went the trek 2D/1N with my girlfriend to Rinjani mountain, that is one of the hardest mountain to do trekking. The team Cakrawala Rinjani make this trip completely a happy ending. Good taking care, wonderful tips for trek, an exclusive stay and food up there the mountain.

Amazing experience trek - Honestly one of my the best experience climb on Rinjani mountain, my Trip was very whort it . The actual hike is not to be taken lightly, it’s bloody difficult. We ignored all warnings of this as we are relatively fit and have done a few volcano hikes before but this is something else! trekking in Rinjani mountain is very challenging trek , but the views from the Top was very amazing. recommend to anyone who wanna to climb in Rinjani to prepare more training and enough fit before the hike in Rinjani mountain.

Challenging - The boss helped me find transportation to reach Senaru and then after the descent to Kuta. I found that very considerate. About the hike it's simply difficult so I don't recommend anybody without an extensive hiking experience to go. It's worth mentioning I do sports regularly and am generally fit. It didn't matter, so be mindful. Maybe one thing to change I feel porters should carry isotonic drinks instead or as extra to water.
