Terrific Aurora and fishing experience! - This experience was SO MUCH FUN! I really didn’t know what to expect with our first time ice fishing, but Tyson took such good care of us. While it was windchill of -16* outside, it was a toasty 70* inside of our fishing cabin. We caught fish, told stories, laughed & had a wonderful meal (prepared fresh by our fishing guide, Tyson). It was all FIRST CLASS!! I would recommend this tour to everyone!! Even those who may not be that into fishing. Tyson kept a lookout on the cold winter sky, and when the Aurora was presenting herself, we all rushed out for perfect photos!

Aurora ice fishing tour is incredible - I strongly recommend everyone visiting Fairbanks Alaska to book an aurora ice fishing tour. It was incredible. The cabins you fish in is stocked with everything you need to fish and stay warm. The tour guide Tyson cooks an amazing dinner for you while you fish and in between catch you can go out to take pictures of the aurora. The lake location is perfect for capturing the best color or the northern lights. It's an excellent experience and a lot of fun

Great night of fishing and Northern Lights - This was the highlight of our trip to Fairbanks. Tyson was an amazing host and was super patient with the 11 people in our group. He set us up with our rods and demonstrated the best way to catch the fish. Within minutes our group started getting bites. We caught 10 in all and would have probably caught more if not for all the fireworks that were being set off. No complaints as that added to the amazing evening. Tyson grilled up our catch and we had a delicious meal. To top it all off, the Northern Lights were literally dancing. It ended up being the best display of the entire trip.

TYSON IS THE MAN! - THIS WAS THE MOST AMAZING PART OF OUR TRIP! Tyson was TOP TIER! His knowledge, his swift baiting, his ability to help with the kiddos, and perfectly clean and cook our fish were just beyond what we expected. The cabin kept us pretty toasty even though it was close to 0/-10* F that night. Our group caught TONS of fish, and caught a great light show! 10/10 would recommend this tour!

Such an awesome time and with a wonderful guide. - Thank you Tyson for making this trip such a rememberable one. It was so much fun to go fishing in a way we have never done before, catch fish and then eat them. Your knowledge of the area and patience with us was so welcoming. I also want to thank you for helping me with my camera settings and taking some pictures for us. This was an incredible experience and one that we will remember forever, in fact we are looking to do this again next year because of the experience we had.

Aurora, plenty of fish and good times - The Aurora Ice fishing was such a highlight of our trip! We got to see the lights and it was also our first time ice fishing. We loved it. Tyson was a great guide and super helpful. He made sure we had the best chance at catching fish and the aurora. He was great to talk to and cooked us a great meal from the fish we caught. I highly recommend this tour and company and would definitely book with them again if we get to come back.

Excellent experience - Excellent location to view the Aurora. The indoor heated hut for ice fishing kept us warm and occupied in between the outdoor Aurora hunts. Tyson was a lovely guide - very knowledgeable, friendly and made the whole experience so relaxing and memorable.

Great Experience - The guide was so kind and told us many interesting stories. The fishing was very easy even for my 7 years old kid. Directly cook dinner was delicious. The frozen lake was beautiful and feel isolated from all modern things. Plus, we could see the aurora due to the snow and thick clouds, but it would be really great place to see aurora.

Expensive disappointment - I was rather disappointed with this tour, especially given the steep price. We were crammed into a small van like sardines, and the cabin on the ice was far too tight—12 people plus a guide in a space no larger than 8’ x 24’. The fishing setup felt cramped, with everyone shoulder to shoulder around 8” pre-drilled holes. While the guide was friendly and helpful, the culinary experience was underwhelming. For the cost, I’d recommend skipping this tour and opting for a daytime outdoor fishing experience instead.
