Amazing walking up a... - Amazing walking up a mountain in the snow. It was a very foggy day but you can’t help that but being up there in the snow was just spectacular.

It's a great place for outdoor winter activities! - You can enjoy various activities on the mountain. In winter, you can not only ski, but also skate and sled, and snowshoe. The snowshoeing tour was great, with the guides explaining the mountains in detail and walking along snowy paths that you can't experience on your own. Even if you don't ski or snowboard, you can have plenty of fun! The lodge also has a space to rest while watching movies, so you can enjoy your winter holidays on the mountain all day.

Fantastic team-building experience at Grouse Mountain - We recently had a fantastic team-building experience at Grouse Mountain with a group booking. Laura was incredibly helpful throughout the process, especially with the changes we made leading up to the event. We opted for the package deal that included snowshoeing and fondue, and it exceeded our expectations. The snowshoeing was a fun and unique way to explore the mountain, and the fondue dinner was a perfect way to end the day. Our tour guides were friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience even more enjoyable. It was a wonderful time for team bonding, and we highly recommend Grouse Mountain for any group or team-building activities!

Winter Wonderland ! - So glad we booked this experience on our short trip to Vancouver! We took an Uber to the mountain from our stay downtown which was simple. After a quick exchange of our voucher for tickets at Guest Services, we rode the new 8-person Gondolas up the mountain to the chalet for an excellent lunch with poutine and boozy hot chocolate. As non-skiiers, we enjoyed that there were other activities available like ice skating and a sleigh ride! The lightwalk was closed when we got there due to the icy conditions, but we enjoyed the scenery and softly falling snow so much that we didn't mind. After that, we took in a few short films in the movie theater and rode the gondola back down. It was very simple to get an Uber back downtown as a few were in the area. Overall, we really enjoyed the day and would absolutely recommend!

Over the hills - Beautiful place, amazing panorama and nice transport via gondola. We approached the entrance by public transportation, to avoid the trafic and parking issue.

Snowy Day Trip - A lovely day trip to the snow - you can ice skate, ski, snowboard or sled. They have a great restaurant chalet on top as well. Just make sure to check the weather and dress accordingly!

Amazing views and worth wait in line. - Beautiful scenery to enjoy on top floor of viewing station. Long wait due to bus loads of tourists being dropped off. Gift shop had typical items found everwhere around town in Banff.

Worth the effort for us Aussies who don't see snow. - This was the best thing we did in Vancouver on our short trip. We went in the 2nd week of December, Vancouver was rainy and 9 degrees Celsius so I wasn't sure what Grouse Mountain would be like, but we were very keen to see snow so we gave it a go (its very expensive so it was a risk!). Luckily as our cable car ascended the rain turned to snow and 6 minutes later we were in a winter wonderland. The light walk was gorgeous in the softly falling snow, we did it when we arrived and again just on 4.30 when it was getting dark. My teen daughter skated ($10 skate hire) and we hired a sled ($5) and each had a go at sledding. The reindeer was pretty and the ranger was friendly and chatted to us. The only negative was the lack of information about how to get there (we ended up catching an uber, it was not clear if the free bus operates in winter as the website says summer only). We then caught a public bus back to Vancouver but again, no information about how to do this and we went too far and had to catch a different bus back to downtown, it took an hour and a half and was raining, dark, crowded and miserable. A simple sign at the public bus stop clearly stating where to get off and change buses and how to buy bus tickets would have been great and would be an easy thing to do.

Don't waste your time - The gondola ride was super crowded but the only enjoyable activity. If you are going for the Christmas SERIOUSLY don't waste your time..there was a lit up moose, bear, a few circle hoops, hearts and globes hanging. I've seen WAY better decorations on private homes. It's sad they even advertise this. The skating rink is tiny, they have one very sad looking reindeer, the observation deck was closed for private party, and the bears aren't accessible as they are hibernating. I'd def go elsewhere if you're only going for the Christmas activities.
