Good family fun! - We went to Yorkshire during half term. My husband went to university in York but it was my firs time visiting there. I am glad that we found this service. It was nice to see the places where my husband spent his uni years and doing scavenger hunt in the places where he didn't go when he was younger. The scavenger hunt certainly kept our boy entertained while we went through the bueatifu area. I'd definately recommend to my family and friends. Good fun to entertain little people as well as adults.

It was such a shame this... - It was such a shame this app did not really work. Unfortunately for some reason the directions were very delayed and the quiz questions took a long time to respond. We tried different phones and the tel number to try to resolve. Nobody answered. Real shame. Started at 9.00am, gave up 12.00. Just be careful of how the gps works in the area you are travelling in.

Awaiting refund - rubbish experience - I booked this experience to Viator but then was directed to download another app. The experience was described as a treasure hunt and quiz but there was nothing remotely like a treasure hunt. It took us about 4 hours and calls to Viator customer services to finally work out what we needed to do and get into the app. When we did get in there was a series of disconnected general knowledge questions linked to each place - no clues or trail - totally DIY so why did I need to pay £25 for an app and waste all that time? The app relied on having an internet connection or 4G but we were in the North Yorkshire moors so this was patchy and the info on the small mobile screen was hard to see. I cannot express how frustrating, disappointing and a waste of money this was. After finally getting onto the app and looking at what it offered we decided it was not as described and we didn’t use it. It was therefore a total waste of money so I reported this to Viator and asked for a refund What is even more disappointing is Viator said they would speak to the app provider and I am still waiting for my refund or indeed any further response. My purchase was through Viator therefore I hope for a speedy resolution and full refund asap. I would suggest Viator does not offer this app in future or the product description is seriously updated. We have used Viator for previous experiences and this is without doubt the worst experience we have ever had.
