A highlight of our trip to Uluru - The sunset was very nice and lots of small nibbles (think chips and salsa, cheese and crackers, etc) and unlimited sparkling wine that was surprisingly very good. The dinner was good - steak a but tough, but the chicken skewers and kangaroo filet was fantastic! Lots of food variety and lots of wine and drink choices. The star talk was also excellent and quite thorough - the girl providing the talk was obviously very excited and enthusiastic about astronomy. Would highly recommend this tour.

Awsome sunset view by Uluru with amazing dinner and fun companions in the group. A must experience! - First the spectacular sunset then it is followed with an amazing dinner. It was a hame that we had clouds so couldn't get the star talk. It's a must experience!

Dinner under the stars - just fantastic - The sunset at Ayers Rock is insanely beautiful, the dinner afterwards right at the foot of the rock really recommended. We sat at a nicely laid table of 10 with people from all over the world. There was beef, chicken and kangaroo. But for vegetarians there was also delicious food. The starry sky there is madness, you can even see other galaxies with the naked eye.

Bbq under the stars - Very nice group dinner with bbq and description of planets and stars. I'd do it again. Nice sharing with other people from all over the world.

Over-priced - Nothing really bad about our experience. The views at sunset are beautiful….but we were disappointed with our dinner. The steak was tough, and vegetables were over cooked. Just don’t feel we got our monies worth

Chance of rain - 5% chance of rain all year and we hit it. The lightning was very bad and, although we experienced the sunset part ( nothing visible because of the storm) they cancelled the bbq. He was going to drive us to the waterfall if we couldn’t see the sunset but he took us back to the resort. The bubbly and the snacks were good - nice part of the sunset. We were unable to rebook the bbq because we’re going camping and it wasn’t available the day after when we were available. I have this a three because I did not have the complete experience. It was not a fault of the company though

Beautiful but disappointed! - Firstly, staff were amazing and star talk was excellent! It is twin sited! Stand for an hour watching the sun go down over Uluru. You are fighting for viewing space surrounded by too many people. Then herded back to coach to beautiful setting with very mediocre food! Not worth half of what was paid!

Read before you book - Picked up at Sails. Bus was 42°C(107°F) inside and we sat for 20+ mins picking up people at the Outback Hotel before even starting the drive. AC was clearly broken but driver was rude and short when people asked about it with fair questions. Bus ‘cooled’ to 38°C which was a joke. We were stuck on it for about 40 mins and it was terrible. I get hot weather and hot cars(have lived in the desert) but this was not ok. Especially for the price point of the tour. Company blamed it on the weather but the other busses of the same size from the same company weren’t insanely hot. Arrived at sunset stop. The snacks were salami/cheese cubes and some chips & crackers. Underwhelming but edible. Busses actually block the sunset but it is a nice view of Uluru. Just felt very commercial. BBQ was fine. The flowing wine helped but the food was decent. Staff was great and the cranky driver got a tiny bit better. Star talk would have been better but we hit a cloudy night (just Mother Nature so wasn’t disappointed by this). I’d skip this overpriced tour and probably anything from this tour company. Go for the small group tours instead.

Unsatisfactory service. - Paid full price for BBQ and star talk, unfortunately due to weather BBQ and star talk cancelled with no notice. Asked for 50% refund but denied. Extremely annoyed with Viator will never us again.

Way too expensive! Not worth the $$ - This was absolutely the worst tour I have ever been on. This tour should have been cancelled and money refunded. It was 113^F outside. The bus ac could not keep up and it was over a 100^F in the bus. Us as well as several other guests complained and all was said was that the ac was on and to drink water. The national park had closed trails due to the extreme heat but the tour went on an over an hour hike and parts were on the closed trails. The sunset stop with tapas was ok. But to serve chips/salsa and carrots/humus on napkins made it very difficult to eat. They only served wine and juice. When it’s 113^F you should not be drinking wine or juice! By the time we got to this stop the bus ran out of water and there was no way to get more . We then headed to the bbq. The food was ok. The staff was amazing . The music was a Bluetooth speaker. The sky talk about the stars was very good! Overall this tour was way over priced for what you got. I would recommend booking with another company. We are still fighting with them for a refund for 2 people who did not go. We used the website and cancelled the tour over 3 weeks ago. We sent 2 more follow up emails before arriving here. Once we arrived they said it was less than 7 days and will not refund us. We have shown documentation of the emails as well as screen shots of the website errors and issues and they are still refusing to refund the money. We will keep fighting but it really puts a damper on your vacation.
