Solo Adventure Among Musk Oxen — Raw, Real, Unforgettable - This experience was incredibly enriching, both from a natural and cultural perspective. Going on a musk ox safari on my own made it even more special — it allowed me to fully immerse myself in the landscape and truly connect with the environment in a unique way. The guide made all the difference. The attention was kind, professional, and very personalized. Even as a solo traveler, I felt completely looked after and part of something meaningful, not just a standard tour. From the very beginning, there was a sense of adventure in the air. Everything was well organized, and at every moment we were ready to embrace whatever nature had to offer. Without a doubt, this is something I would repeat. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a genuine and memorable experience.

Fabulous Musk Ox Safari - My 2 day Musk Ox safari was absolutely amazing! My guide, Morten was extremely knowledgeable, kind and truly looked after me on the mountain, as we had some challenging windy weather. He ensured I didn’t fall and safety was always first including when and how we approached the animals. We managed to see the Musk Ox on both days and to be able to photograph them was truly a privilege. I had a fantastic time and the safari exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend Oppdal safari!

Musk ox in Norway - Massively exceeded my expectations on every level. Camped out in the mountains with my family, snow hiked out to see the oxen. Our guide was extremely knowledgable about all aspects of national park. Erlend Ekeland Great job.

Wonderful day and creatures - We had a wonderful day with Morton snowshoeing in the park. It was so beautiful and not that hard very gentle ascent, and we were rewarded at the top after about 3 miles with nice views of musk ox. Morton was very knowledgeable and very patient with our slow pace. Generally great vibes Thanks!!!

Musco safari November 2025 - The visit lived up to all my expectations, 6 hours tour on the mountain in fantastic weather with nice guide Erlend Ekeland. It is recommended and the best way to get the most out of the visit

Amazing adventure - We were lucky enough to spot musk ox. I can highly recommend this trip. Well organized, guide had hot tea for us. Itvwas the lastvtrip of the season.

Impressive day with great guide, great Service ! - A nice day with a great group and a very good guide. Also, that due to a road closure we only 1 h later on Meeting point would have arrived we were directed to another place to get to the group. Ingenious with other organizers that would have been bad luck!!!! We then saw two old musk oxen and learned a lot about the history. In addition, learn a lot about the fauna. In addition, a white tailed eagle and a stone melter ( rare bird) seen . Walked a total of 6 kilometers, very moderate and not very hilly.

Emily was perfect, but not her boss - We were lucky enough to have Emily as our guide. She was perfect in everything. She is very attentive to the whole group and knows very well what she does. It made us live an unforgettable experience. We had the oxen a few meters away and we could really enjoy the place and the whole route. The problem was that her boss did not ask us if we had our own car, so it would have been much easier to stay directly in the parking lot of the National Park, and not in Oppdal, since we came from Dombás and had to redo the 30 minutes of car we had just done. But otherwise, it was a day we will never forget!!!
