A dive back in time with little John - Little John provided a lovely guided trip focusing on the lore and history of Nottingham filled with interesting facts and theories.

Well worth it! - Just been on a trip with Little John yesterday. If you're into history (like I am) and enjoy asking questions then LJ 's your guy. A very knowledgeable person and also a great guy. He is also something of a martial- arts aficionado and during the tour gave me a mini demonstration of how a staff would have been used by Sherwood Forest dwellers 😉 Somewhat similar to the Japanese martial art Bōjutsu. Would loved to have spent more time with LJ but as the saying goes all good things come to end. Thanks LJ 👍

Nottingham in a nutshell - Little John was excellent as a tour guide. The tour was interesting, informative and amusing. We learnt a lot about the history of Nottingham without realising. The 2 hour tour flew past. Highly recommended.

He brought the legends of Robin Hood, Maid Marian, and the Sheriff of Nottingham to life with humor, drama, and fascinating historical insights. You’ll walk through the historic Lace Market, visit iconic sites like the Old Market Square and Nottingham Castle, and hear stories that connect myth with real medieval history. What I loved most was how the tour balanced fun with substance. It wasn’t just a costume show—it was deeply informative, grounded in well-researched history, and full of surprising facts even for those familiar with the legend. Perfect for families, solo travelers, or anyone looking to see Nottingham in a unique and engaging way. A memorable tour that I would take again! - I went with my partner and we had such a laugh! I was surprised to learn so much about Nottingham, and loved how the host delivered historic tales in a way that made them memorable. It was a great experience, and was a highlight of our trip! Wonderful way to see the city! - We were unfamiliar with the city so this felt like a good way to accustom ourselves. The tour guide was very polite and extremely knowledgeable about the area. They were also very keen and knowledgeable about other parts of british history. Great opportunity to learn while having a laugh!
