Amedee Island - From 10 AM to 3 PM: Enjoy white sand beaches and swim with the turtles. You can also observe colorful marine life along coral reefs, with your equipment and personal instruction from your skipper (if you need we can provide you a mask and tuba). To be able to appreciate this excursion and to put all the chances on your side to see turtles : you must be an experienced swimmer (comfortable in the water, knows how to swim long enough). If not, you can view colored corals and little fishes.
If the lighthouse is open, you can climb the 247 steps of the lighthouse for a breathtaking view of the lagoon.
By 3 PM we start back to Noumea . - Amedee Island - 3 PM start back to Noumea . We expect a 3.45 PM: arrival at PORT BRUNELET GATE E.

This island is the largest genuine coral cay on the surrounding reef of New Caledonia’s south lagoon, just a 45-minute water taxi ride from Noumea. Situated near the Great Barrier Reef and nestled within a protected marine reserve, this islet is especially famous for its stunning underwater landscapes and pristine waters.
Enjoy swimming with turtles at Amédée Island and snorkel throughout the year without the need for stinger suits on this exceptional, safeguarded reef island. Additionally, you can admire the vibrant marine life along the coral reefs.
Visitors can explore its 56-meter-high lighthouse, the only metal lighthouse in France, and ascend it with a pass (300 XPF per person).
This tour is designed for guests under 70 years old who are in good physical health. The transfer to the island is via inflatable boat and may be somewhat bumpy. Snorkeling is self-directed, with safety guidelines provided by the skipper.
