Hearing the genesis, challenges and determination behind the Dome was of rare interest and significance. Things to do in Novara - An excellent experience in Novara. It was a long time that I wanted to do this excursion but almost always I found it sold out. Finally on July 13 I was able to find tickets for the climb to the dome of the Basilica of San Gaudenzio. The tour is in groups and led by two local guides and lasts about two hours. Our group had Luca and Mauro as escorts. Luca managed to involve us with his passionate explanations. Top! After a first climb a bit 'tiring everything went very well. From the top of the tower the view is priceless. Beautiful experience of being harnessed for the last stretch. If perhaps it is not for everyone - because it is a bit tiring - it is absolutely recommended. Book your ticket in advance because it is in high demand.

Higher than that you can't... - We had already been on the dome years ago, but now that it has been possible to climb up to 100 meters to the spire, we immediately booked... The visit lasts 2 hours which pass very quickly. Our guides Luca and Chiara were very prepared, really a compliment to the two of them for the way they approached the visit, explaining everything without being too long-winded and interacting with people. There are about 600 steps, but the climb is not tiring! I recommend to all those who like these experiences to book, taking into account that this activity is not open all year, online booking is convenient and fast!
