The guide will meet guests in the hotel lobby for pickup. The journey will begin with a 15-30 minute drive to Damside, depending on the hotel’s location in Lakeside. The group will then embark on a gentle hike uphill through picturesque forests, accompanied by the sounds of chirping birds, with the lake below and the stunning Annapurna mountains to the north. During the hike, there will be opportunities to pause for photos, rest, and receive information from the guide. It will take approximately 2-3 hours to reach the summit of the World Peace Stupa (Nipponzan Myohoji Japanese Buddhist Temple). Upon arrival, guests can explore the entire Stupa, the priest hall, the garden, and more. From this vantage point, there is a breathtaking view of lush green hills, forests, Pokhara city, Fewa Lake, and the surrounding mountain ranges. After spending some time at the top, the group will begin the descent towards Fewa Lake via a different route. A paddle boat ride will then take guests back to Lakeside, followed by a transfer to their hotel, marking the end of the trip.

Embark on an uncomplicated day hike to the World Peace Stupa (Nipponzan Myohoji Temple) from Pokhara, Nepal - considered the most accessible hike to the World Peace Stupa, also known as the Nipponzan Myohoji Japanese Buddhist Temple. We’ll tour the whole Stupa, appreciating views of the Mt. Annapurna range and Fewa Lake from its apex. The journey will start and conclude at your Lakeside, Pokhara hotel.
