Great horse ride experience! - This was a great experience with a spectacular view of the mountains and a nice ride through the wooded areas. Bret and his assistant were very professional and made us feel safe. Hint: For getting there, don't use Waze!

Such a fun ride and experience! - Our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 children- ages 6&9) had a great time with a two hour horseback ride. It was such a different experience with the openness. We had the ability to ride slower or faster. One of our horses also had a 4 mo old baby boy who trotted alongside us for a while. Magical!

5 Stars – Unforgettable Horseback Ride with Incredible Views - We had an amazing horseback riding experience with CRParaiso! The trail took us through beautiful tropical forest, a local village, and offered breathtaking views of Lake Arenal. The horses were gentle, well-trained, and easy to ride—even for beginners. The owner and guide were kind, professional, and made us feel completely comfortable the entire time. This was one of the highlights of our trip to Costa Rica. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the Arenal area!

If your looking to have an authentic horse riding exploration type of adventure this is the place! - Wonderful experience! Both Brett and Jason were great guides and full of information! The horses were absolutely awesome gentle and sweet. Well trained and cared for. I felt comfortable and safe while at the same time not on your standard tour guided ride. We did much more exploring and saw an up close more personal side of Costa Rica. As our friend was a more experienced rider she got to venture ahead at a faster pace while I could linger and lag behind comfortably lol. We saw beautiful views and endless plants and wildlife. I highly recommend the short drive off the main road well worth it for a great adventure! Enjoy!!

Views all around Nuevo Arenal highlighted our Horse Riding Adventure - The Trip Advisor app worked well to book our Horse Riding Tour near Nuevo Arenal. Our guide Marvin and CRParaiso owner Bret prepared the horses for our ride, making sure all the equipment was adjusted to fit us for a comfortable experience. We were introduced to our horses, and asked about our level of horse riding experience. We were pleased to do more than just walk slowly, nose to tail. Several times through out the tour, we were able to canter along the trail, which was such fun! Explanations of the surrounding topography kept us interested in our surroundings the whole time. The price was good value for a great experience!

An amazing activity! - We did a combo tour starting with zip lines and followed by horseback riding and it was amazing! Our 10-year old son, not to mention us, loved every second! The staff is so kind and generous. Thank you very much Brett & Jason! We absolutely recommend going to check all that CRParaiso has to offer!

Great activity even for beginners - Even for unexpierienced riders it is a grat activity. You learn about horses and riding and about your own body. You see the magnificent landscape and have amazing views from the top of the hills. We can really recommend it!

Horseback riding through the jungle - The horses were very nice and easy to ride. The scenery was spectacular, so much to see. Our guide spoke limited English because the owner who would normally guide was unable to ride that day. A little over 2 hours - not too long or too short. We had a nice time!
