07:45: Begin the ascent through the verdant tea plantations, following the winding dirt path up the slopes. Pause for energy bars along the way, taking in the stunning tea country views as you rest, while the guide highlights points of interest. A backup vehicle will be available if needed.
10:00: Arrive at the summit and spend an hour enjoying the breathtaking views and the renowned solitary tree. Look down over Nuwara and Lake Gregory, and depending on the weather, take in the sweeping vistas of the Haggala Mountains and the peaks of Sri Pada and Piduruthalagala.

It is the ninth highest peak in Sri Lanka (2100 meters), rising only 250 meters above the Nuwara Eliya city. From the summit of this hill, you could absorb the beauty of the Haggala Mountain, Pidurutalagala range, Lake Gregory and the whole of the northern slice of the Horton Plains.
