• Post Office Nuwara Eliya - This historic post office was constructed in 1894 by the British during Sri Lanka’s colonial era. The building, made entirely of red brick, showcases the late 19th-century Victorian architectural style. A notable feature is the clock tower, which complements the building’s design. In 2012, the upper floor was transformed into tourist accommodation at a cost of 5.4 million rupees.

• Victoria Park of Nuwara Eliya - Located next to the Nuwara Eliya Post Office, Victoria Park is a public park in Sri Lanka. Initially, it served as the research field for Hakgala Botanical Garden. In 1897, it was officially named to honor Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee. The park’s first tree, an Oak, was planted by a visiting German Princess. The Nanu Oya flows through the park, forming several small lakes. The park is home to various rare bird species and features a children’s playground and a miniature rideable railway.

• Holy Trinity Church - The Holy Trinity Church, completed over a decade and officially opened on February 24, 1852, stands as a testament to historical architecture.

• Nuwara Eliya Golf Course - Established in the late 19th century, the Nuwara Eliya Golf Club is one of Sri Lanka’s oldest golf clubs. Situated in the hill station of Nuwara Eliya, it features an 18-hole golf course.

• Seetha Amman Kovil - The Seetha Amman Temple, also known as Seetha Eliya Seethai Amman Thirukkovil or Ashok Vatika Sita Temple, is an ancient Vaishnavite Hindu temple in the Nuwara Eliya District of Central Sri Lanka. The temple is steeped in folklore related to the Hindu epic, the Ramayana.

• Sen Horti Strawberry Farm - Accessible via Hakgala, Ambewela Road, and New Zealand Farm Road, the Strawberry Farms offer freshly picked strawberries at various outlets and cafes, serving strawberry drinks, ice cream, pancakes, and more at reasonable prices. These strawberries are grown at Ambewela Farm, Adam Agro, Rose Garden, and other farms in Nuwara Eliya.

• Ambewela Farms - As the main milk product supplier in the country, Ambewela Farm is located in the small town of Ambewela, about seventeen kilometers from Nuwara Eliya. Known for its cool climate, with temperatures remaining below 17 degrees Celsius year-round, the area is recognized as Sri Lanka’s largest grassland and an ideal bird-watching spot.

• Gregory Lake - Also known as Gregory Reservoir, Lake Gregory is situated in the heart of Nuwara Eliya’s tea country hill city. Created in 1873 during the tenure of British Governor Sir William Gregory, the lake and its surroundings form the Gregory Lake Area.

• City Viewing Point - Shanthipura - Experience breathtaking panoramic views of Nuwara Eliya, often referred to as Sri Lanka’s “Little England.” From this vantage point, enjoy the lush tea plantations, misty hills, and charming town below.
