One of the highlights of Wanaka - I had an absolutely fantastic experience with Wild Wire. Our guide was Jake... or maybe Luke. Haha. One of the funniest stories of the day was him telling us that some of his coworkers didn't even know his name, so hopefully I'm not proving his point here. Regardless of what his name actually was, he was an outstanding guide. He was professional, knowledgeable, and did a great job making sure everyone in the group had a good time. He taught us about the history of via ferratas, explained the equipment clearly, and was extremely safety-oriented throughout the entire experience. There were a few sections where some people in the group were understandably nervous, and he did an excellent job talking them through it, helping them stay calm and confident. You could tell he genuinely cared about everyone's experience and safety. We also worked with Eleanor (I think that was her name). She wasn't my direct guide, but she helped with the introduction and getting everyone prepared. She was fun, energetic, and added to the positive atmosphere right from the start. As for the activity itself, I absolutely loved it. This was my first via ferrata, and Wild Wire completely hooked me. From now on, whenever I encounter a via ferrata during my travels, I'm going to want to do it. The scenery was incredible, the route was exciting without feeling unsafe, and the entire operation was top-notch. If you're on the fence about doing this, stop thinking and book it. One of the highlights of my trip

A highlight of our trip to NZ! - This was one of the highlights of our trip to NZ! Level 2 was going to be a challenge for me, because of my fear of heights. Level 1 is pretty easy and Level 2 definitely turns up the heat. However, I felt secure with the equipment and was able to tune out the heights by focusing on the climbing process. Our guide, Luke, was friendly, but more importantly, he was professional. I am happy that we chose to spend a morning doing this climb!

Wild wire - Absolutely a standout day. Initially our day was cancelled due to weather, and they were prompt in letting us know and able to rebook for the following day. This was absolutely worth the price, the experience was amazing and we spent hours climbing and experiencing the views and different terrain. I did this with a below knee prosthetic leg, and the guides were attentive and helpful, and I felt comfortable and safe the whole time. There is a practice section at the start so you feel very comfortable as you progress. Highly recommend.

Top New Zealand Experience - We did a lot of adventuring in New Zealand, and this is right up there in first place. Now I can’t wait to do another via ferrata based on our excellent experience with this one. Our guide, Ben, always put safety first and answered all our questions as we went. I am not young—I did this with my son, who is in his late 20s…and I felt totally safe. And don’t forget, you also have to go down the mountain once you finish, which can be hard on the knees. You are going up right next to a waterfall—it’s surreal and so much fun!

Best trip in Wanaka - So worth the experience. Super fun day! Our guide Shane was knowledgeable, patient and friendly and very safely mindful. He took pics of us the whole way up. The sandwiches provided were top notch. I would recommend this to anyone who is not afraid of exposure.

Awesome highest waterfall cable climb in Wanaka - It's our first via ferrata experience and I was so glad that I went for the full experience with Lord of the Runs Level 3! Immediately after check-in, we went through safety briefing and equipment fit. We then familiarized our selves with the process using the practice boulder. Level 1 & 2 were led by Chester and Level 3 was led by Rachael. Both of them did a fantastic job and helped us take a lot of photos! We really had great fun, with our safety reassured through clear instructions and safety demos through different sections of the climb. The heli ride back added a sweet ending to our adventure. Generally, Level 1&2 is suitable for everyone with no prior experience. Level 3 is suitable for those physically strong or used to climbing.

Fabulous activity with Wildwire Wanaka - From start to finish a really great activity. Started as level 1 and when we reached the end my family ended while I upgraded to level 2. Level 2 was harder and another 1 - 1 1/2 hours but 100% worth it. Friendly, supportive and knowledgeable leaders which made you feel safe but not 'molly coddled'. You are incharge of your activiry.

great views - Super well organised, very safe, a great activity to do a great way to see more of New Zealand, if you have a good level of fitness you might prefer level 3.
