Absolutely PERFECT experience… even for first time surfers. - Shane and Captain Neil were incredible surf instructors. They were both patient and fun, ensuring we got up on our boards even being first time surfers. We cannot wait to make another trip out there to both see them again and learn more. The pictures and videos they took of us were well worth it and such a perfect keepsake memory. We have already recommended them to both family and friends traveling out to Waikīkī. The surf lessons were the best part of our trip and we can’t wait to go out with them again. Highly, highly recommend!

From the moment we met on the beach, his energy and love for surfing were contagious. With over 40 years of experience, his coaching is on another level, you can really tell he lives and breathes the sport.
Out in the water, he stayed right next to me on his board, giving real-time feedback, helping to steady mine, and guiding me with quick adjustments that instantly boosted my balance, confidence, and technique.
Thanks to Shane, I stood up and rode a wave on my first try!! Something I didn’t think was possible. He was cheering me on the whole way and made the experience fun, empowering, and way beyond anything I expected.
If you’re thinking of trying surfing in Hawaii, do yourself a favor and book with Shane. You won’t regret it!

Good instructors, good surfing tips - Shane and Darren were really good instructors, they gave us a lot surfing tips and helped us paddle when we our arms weren't strong enough. They chose good waves for us and helped us catch them. Very good experience, would recommend!

❤️❤️ - shane and neil are amazing! i was able to stand up on my first try. they ensured our safety and made sure to grab us and guide us back to a good spot after every wave. they’re also just really fun people, i highly recommend!

A+++++ Experience! Thank you Shane and Neil! - Booked with a friend for 2 hours because we were looking for 1:1 instruction. Shane and Neil were awesome. Each of us got time with both instructors, so had constant feedback and direction for each wave we pursued.
Shane and Neil are long time surfers and experts in their craft. Real nice guys too. I highly recommend taking lessons with them and I will definitely recommend them to friends and family.

Great way to check out surfing in Waikiki. - Shane and his partner are excellent instructors and very willing to please their clients. My biggest complaint was it was supposed to be a private 2-person lesson (I even tried to include myself and the app would not accept more than 2) and when we showed up "magically" there was another young lady added to the lesson, so my daughter had to share her time with this other person. I don't think you should pay for private lessons and then not have private lessons! Thankfully my wife had Shane as her instructor, and she was taken care of very well and hence my 4-star review and not something less. These guys were great, but they need to keep it private!!!
