Kalakaua Avenue and nearby streets are lined with designer fashion stores, and the area comes alive at night with waterside cocktail bars, fine dining, and Kuhio Beach hula shows. The Honolulu Zoo houses Komodo dragons and wandering peacocks, while parrotfish and urchins can be seen in Waikiki Aquarium’s reef exhibit.
- Diamond Head Crater - A volcanic tuff cone on Oʻahu, known to Hawaiians as Lēʻahi. The name likely comes from lae plus ʻahi, as the ridgeline resembles a tuna’s dorsal fin.

Established 94 years ago in 1927 and designed by Seth Raynor, it features a par 72 championship course at 7,125 yards from the Championship tees.
