A TOP 3 OAHU EXPERIENCE! Make this a priority! And spring for the Luau package! - It had been 46 years since I last visited the Polynesian Cultural Center, and it retains all of the charm I remember from years ago. I rank this First, it's not a super large facility and can easily be covered in a day. With that said, it won't be possible to do ALL of the activities, shows and other things they offer in a single day. So pick and choose, and enjoy those you choose. Wander through all six villages to learn about the different cultures and see the many shows they put on. The show at Aotearoa Village was great fun! We loved how enthusiastic all employees were about sharing their culture and answering questions. You can feel the passion they have for being islanders. Our family felt like they had experienced Hawaii after spending a day here. So many places to get great family photos! The Luau dinner was worth every penny (don't skimp on this - you'll thank me later!), and the Ha: Breath of Life show was exactly what we were hoping to see at some point in our Hawaiian vacation. Dancing! Fire! Hula girls! Laughs! Parking is plentiful and it's super easy to navigate around inside. Very friendly for those who need use of wheelchairs or other accessibility options. PRO TIP: I can't say this enough. Spring for the Ali'i Lu'au Package, not the buffet package. Yes, it's expensive, but it's MUCH LESS expensive than a singular Luau dinner elsewhere. Luaus in Maui were pricing $100/person more than what we paid for the Luau dinner at the Polynesian Cultural Center. And the show to end the evening is one to remember! When else are you going to do this??

A Fun Filled Day! - Every time I visit Oahu I enjoy visiting the Polynesian Culture Center. We had a great “tour” guide on the ride to the center. There’s so much to do and see. The day we went it was pouring down rain, but we still had a fantastic time! The only thing I didn’t really care for was that the luau was a buffet. The entertainment was nice, but I prefer a more traditional luau experience. Despite the lack of ambience, the food was very good! All-in-all it was a very fun day and we learned how to play a ukulele!

Awesome experience for families - Awesome day spent at the PCC with my parents and sister. Had a blast exploring the villages and enjoyed canoeing and riding the big canoe with a guide. Everyone from the bus driver (shout out to Shack) who picked us up, to the staff at each village and throughout the centre were so friendly and easy to talk to. The buffet dinner was extensive and delicious as well. The Ha show was awesome, brought a tear to my eye as a person of Polynesian heritage and my family also loved their experience from beginning to end. Thank you to everyone who made the day special.

Wonder Luau and show - This is definitely a much do on Oahu. The 7 villages give you a real insight on the people's culture and customs and include numerous demonstrations. So many that you can't see everything in one afternoon. Just be sure to arrive right when it opens to meet your tour guide and get the most out of your day. The Luau is wonderful with a great show and the food was fantastic. Be sure to include the HA: Breath of Life show. It's probably the best show I've seen.

Meh - Meh. Food was great at the buffet. Skip the show - it's cheesy and like a Mormon Luau - long sleeve blouses under the tops and pants under the grass skirts for the girls, but boys cold be shirtless :) We much prefer the regular luau shows vs this one. There was weird "security" walking up and down the isles and closed the doors once it started trying to prevent folks from leaving - seemed odd. I would do a different luau over this experience.

STAY AWAY FROM POLYNESIAN CULTURAL CENTER!!! MORMON OWNED AND HORRIBLE SERVICE AND FOOD. - This place price gouges tourists who don’t know better. I know good Hawaiian food. In Oahu you got Boots and Kimos or Highway Inn serving authentic Hawaiian favorites. These guys do a terrible job. The huli huli chicken was so dry I had to spit it out. Food that was supposed to be hot was cold. The desserts were pathetic. I found a supervisor and told her my concerns and she had the nerve to ask me if I looked at the menu before getting tickets like I just don’t like the type of food. She immediately assumed I’m just some dumb tourists that doesn’t like Hawaiian classics. She then acted like she would discount or refund some of our money since all we ate was fruit. But she just took me to some kid who supposedly messaged the supervisor and the supervisor said nope, won’t do anything for me. But made me walk all the way to the front to do this. This place is run by BYU and the mormons so it’s really no surprise. They continue to exploit and use the island people to make lots of money and not pay them enough to live on. I give this a 1 out of 10 and would be a zero except the fruit was good. I mean you can’t screw that up!

Does not coincide with my beliefs and faith - At first we were excited but after going to several islands and watching the chanting, we realized it's a cult/ritual. Also, one of the dancers spoke about human sacrifice and as many laughed, we were told that they sacrifice men only. Also, the entire dance and chanting with their tongues out just looks crazy. During the next several islands we were told all worked who work there are from BYU - which is a specific belief (you can search it since they deleted my original review due to mentioning religion) . And many people on the island are specific faith. As someone who belives in holy trinity, I can't support this and wish I did my own research. I don't recommend this tour since it is against my faith.
