Perfect Day! - Our tour was perfect! Elf is a wonderful person with so much knowledge of O’ahu. She listened to our ideas, asked questions, made suggestions and crafted exactly what we wanted (without us knowing exactly what we wanted). I don’t even know how we got so much in our day and didn’t feel rushed at any point. She’s an amazing person with a kind soul and years of experience. It felt like a day with an old friend. Highly recommend.

Excellent Alternatives to Avoid Disappointment - We had an excellent day with elf! She contacted us in advance to ask what we would like to do on our tour. She informed us that one thing we wanted to do would not be possible due to the surf conditions. She then asked us about our interests and came up with fantastic alternatives! What could have been a disappointment turned out to be an excellent day of discovery! She was engaging and very knowledgeable about Oahu. It was the perfect introduction to the island for my daughter. Thank you elf!! If we are ever back on the island we would love to use your services again.

Fabulous Oahu Tour With Custom Island Adventure Tour! - My husband and visited Oahu to celebrate our 25th Anniversary. Because we only have 3 days here before we move on to another island and because it’s my hubby’s first time in Hawaii, I wanted to find a private tour company to see interesting parts of the island while avoiding the tourist traps. Two month’s prior to our trip, I booked a private tour with Custom Island Adventure Tour. Our host, Elf reached out right away to get a sense of what we would like to see and where our interests lay. She was very responsive and designed an itinerary that allowed us to make the most of our time together. She was very candid about what we could and could not fit into a seven hour tour, which I immensely appreciated. We stayed in touch for the time prior to our trip and the night before, Elf called us to finalize our schedule and confirm the pickup time. Elf arrived on time at our Waikiki and greeted us with her warm, beautiful energy. We had an amazing day! We took the scenic route to the North Shore, stopping a former sugar plantation where we sampled local coffee and amazing chocolate. Then we visited the cute little town of Haleiwa for coffee and shopping. Next we stopped at Waianae Valley, where we hiked to the Waterfall! The journey was unbelievably beautiful! We stopped for lunch at a cool little food truck park what we partook in Garlic Shrimp! Super tasty! We make a few stops at scenic overlooks and the to Byosin Temple. Before heading back to our hotel, we stopped at Leonard’s for Masaladas! All along the way, Elf educated us on local culture and shared her “ good vibes”. Elf is amazing and am so grateful an unforgettable experience! I would highly recommend her company and hope our paths cross again someday!!

Amazing! - Elf is such an amazing guide. She took us to the two places we wanted and to see places and views we didn't even know about. I would recommend Elf to anyone who wants a private, personalised tour. Really cool.

Hire her!!! - Elfy is a delight. We hit it off immediately when we first met and I booked a subsequent solo customized tour. She is vivacious, engaging, smart, fun, and knowledgeable. Super trip to the southern and eastern areas of O’ahu. Can’t recommend her enough.

Best tour of island worth it!!!! - We had the most beautiful experience. Elf made us feel like old friends touring beautiful places, eating delicious foods, and hearing about the island. My teens were fascinated by her stories and “how she knew where to go for everything we wanted to see”. She goes above and beyond to share the ALOHA spirit. This is a day that will be a part of our family conversation and memories for our lifetime! Personalized and custom from start to finish! Fun, engaging, and filled with great topics. Thank you Elf. Great tour - We had a wonderful day. Elf was so knowledgeable and accommodating. We were able to see everything we wanted to and spend as much time as we needed. She also took us to some places to try some of the local food. Highly recommend.

Horrible Experience - I did not attend this tour and was denied a refund the day before even though the company calls just shy of 24 hrs prior to confirm tour locations. Meaning, if you are denied a location that is provided on the website, you will be denied a refund. This seems extremely unethical in my book. The tour does not provide sites as described on the website. The tour guide was extremely rude and abrasive and did not provide recommendations of where to go. I asked the tour guide to stop texting/emailing me after I asked repeatedly to not; however my ask was disregarded and she reached out to me four additional times. If you book this tour you must do the research on your own and this service is basically a driving service. Save the money and rent a car for the day. I would not recommend this tour to visitors.
