Great full island tour! - My partner and I booked a full day private tour of Oahu with Dave and loved every minute of it. It was our first time to the island and Dave showed us all the highlights. He was prompt to pick us up at our hotel and throughout the 10 hour day told us about the history, ecology, geology and culture of Oahu. He addressed our special request to stop at the Lyon Botanical Gardens, and still managed to take us to everything his website promised. We drove around the entire island, stopping at places including beautiful beaches, lookout points, gardens, the Buddhist Temple, Waikiki Beach, the macadamia nut outlet for souvenirs, and happily, Giovanni's Shrimp Truck for lunch. Dave had a beautiful, clean SUV, and best of all, a wonderful attitude and great sense of humor. He had a great store of information about the history, wildlife, geography and culture of the island which he shared in an interesting and amusing way. He felt like a pal by the end of the trip. We highly recommend you spend a day with Dave. We'll be sending our friends his way.

Great tour! - Great island tour! It was fun and informative. I really loved the food at the local stops—probably my favorite part! Loved learning about each stop and story behind it!

Great tour, wrong place to book it - It was great, AKA, our guide was kind, genuine and very knowledgeable. Tour was almost 11 hours and stretching it for my 7 year-old who was exhausted. We visited every tourist trap in the island but guide and driver "King Mike" made it all worth it. Disappointed i was the only fool to have paid almost double here when most people paid half price on group. On. Dot. Com. Check it out. The company is "Nui Tours. One of the rare tour with the Byodo in Temple, kids were happy to see the sights for Jurassic Park, Moana etc.

Awesome day - Except for the lack of changing facilities at the snorkel stop, excursion was easily the best way to experience the entire island

Jeremy was awesome! - Jeremy our tour guide was great. Knew a lot of history about the island and even texted the group other tours, restaurants, hikes etc. he genuinely loves his island and wants us all to experience the most out of it. Only complaint was the bus was warm and would have been nice if it had better AC!

More Souvenir & Food Stops Than Natural Attractions - Ultimate Circle Island Tour ($105, discounted to $65) In the review that follows I mention the attractions listed on Circle Island Tours advertisement in “This Week Oahu”. (I toured 5/28/24.). Please note that I skip around some on order of sites and don’t comment on every site. First we saw Diamond Head, from a side lookout, not the top. Soon afterwards was Halona Blowhole, the nicest site I saw on the tour. It was non-touristy and I liked it. Then came a long list of stops for food and souvenirs, interspersed with attractions I would have liked to have seen, but we just drove by them, as mentioned after the next paragraph. Food and souvenirs include Souvenir 1 (I’m not sure of the name); it’s the first stop with coconut sales. A Malapagos (donut) food truck, Macadamia Nut Farm (no macadamia trees seen); Tanakas Shrimp Farm (tasty lunch with minimal services—no TP in the restroom); Kahuku Fruit Stand, Dole Plantation (gift shop only—pineapples seen only as we drove by them). I think at the end was what the ad lists as “Green World Coffee Farm”, which was just a coffee stand. The sight of coffee trees was as our van whizzed by them. We drove by Sandy Beach where Obama used to bodysurf as a young man. Other things worth a stop, that we just drove by were Waimea Bay and Laie Temple. I am not sure what Makapu’u Lookout is—it wasn’t pointed out by the van driver. We also drove by the Banzai Pipeline and Haleiwa Town. I liked the brief stop to see Chinaman’s Hat, a nearby island. The other ‘nature’ stop was Turtle Beach. I think I saw two or three turtles swimming. The beach was too rocky for swimming, for me. (No snorkeling equipment was offered.). It was pleasantly underwhelming. The van driver was knowledgeable about Hawaiian history and movie stars homes. He kept up a somewhat interesting running chatter, but the van trip overall had too many touristy sites (one after another after another) and not enough natural attractions.
