Highlights
- Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon - Your Private Group Lessons will consist of your individual group of 2-4 people ages 12 or older.
- We will meet at the end of the parking lot on a small triangular beach. You can choose the best size water shirt and water shoes.
- We will begin by doing a demo near the entrance of the water to help you feel comfortable…

- We will meet at the end of the parking lot on a small triangular beach. You can choose the best size water shirt and water shoes.
- We will begin by doing a demo near the entrance of the water to help you feel comfortable with safety, paddling, pop ups on the board, and covering any questions you may have.
- This will be followed by an hour of practicing your surfing skills. Our instructors will be helping tow you if you are struggling paddling by yourself. They will also be pushing you on waves and helping you get comfortable with catching the waves.
- Once we paddle back to shore we will get any purchased photos/videos uploaded the same day and send an email by that evening for your lifetime memories!
You are guaranteed to catch a wave even if you ride on your stomach, however most people will catch multiple waves standing during their first beginner lesson.

Location
Manifesting Aloha Surf School
We will meet at the end of the parking lot on a small triangular beach. This is a free parking lot located outside of Hilton Hawaiian Village lagoon. If you are unable to find parking here there is a paid parking lot to the right just before this lot.

Great 1 time surf lesson! - We had a great experience with our first ever surf lesson with Jake. It was myself and my teenage daughter. Jake was great in working with both of us at very different levels. The location was great as well, not too busy. Highly recommend for anyone looking to book a surf lesson!

Amazing surf lesson and experience - This was my first trip to Hawaii and my first experience surfing. Jake was attentive, friendly and positive right from booking. In the water, Jake gave great instruction and never wavered from keeping close eye on me and my daughter. Both of us got up and had so much fun. Highly recommend!

Great surf instructor and great first time surfing experience. - This was my first time surfing and it was a blast! The surf instructor Jake was a great teacher and talks you through the whole process. I'm not coordinated but he helped me be able to ride a lot of waves. We went at 7am and it was perfect timing. The spot that we went to was great and not crowded. There were not hundreds of people watching me learn like on other beaches in Honolulu. We even got to see some turtle friends! You also feel like you are out there on the water for a very long time which is nice. I would definitely recommend to a friend or someone visiting!

An incredible learning experience! - We had an amazing time and learned so much in just one hour! With the instructions from our very talenter teacher, we were able to ride multiple waves standing up. This was the first time we surfed and now feel ready to give it a go on our own and perhaps come back another time to learn even more!

Great beginner surfing experience! - My three kids learned to surf today and now they want to surf tomorrow! Jake and Sarah were awesome. Both super friendly. Jake is a great instructor got who each kid up on several waves and made it super fun. Sarah worked the drone and took some incredible shots and video. Definitely a trip highlight.

Family surf lessons. - We had an amazing surf lesson experience. We were a large group of 4 adults and 4 kids. Jake broke us up into 2 group lesson times and brought chairs and a canopy for the group that was waiting. He was patient with adults and kids...so personable. We would definitely book with him again!! The bonus of photos and videos was awesome!!

Amazing family surf experience with Jake! - We had such an amazing experience with Jake surfing. He did a semi-private lesson for us and our two kids. He was so kind and professional and prepared. He was just as good with the adults as with the kids, and we all had a great time. Would absolutely recommend to anyone wanting to try surfing! Thanks so much!

Best surf lessons ever! - One of a kind experience. Definitely will be revisiting every time I visit Waikiki.
Experience was much better than I depicted and Jake is extremely helpful. Jake is very enthusiastic and goes above and beyond for his customers.

Amazing experience with THE best instructor - Jake is an amazing instructor who is sparing no efforts ensuring you having a good time. When we were out there with him, we felt safe and could see us progressing in each wave.
