Bring your phones and cameras to capture stunning landscape photos and selfies!
Experience our exceptional half-day sunset tour, designed for those eager to discover the most breathtaking spots. With limited availability, it’s best to book early.
This afternoon journey will lead you to incredible viewpoints. The first stop is a hidden gem that most people overlook, ensuring it’s often deserted. From here, you’ll enjoy a panoramic view of the entire south shore.
Next, we venture to the Kaiwi coast, where magnificent sea cliffs have formed. Explore this area and take in spectacular panoramic views. During the winter months, you might even spot Humpback whales from the cliffs.
Before sunset, we’ll pause for a meal. The shopping area offers a variety of delicious options. We highly recommend trying the local favorite, Fay Boys.
As for the sunset, in winter, you can witness the sun setting directly into the ocean. Depending on the day and the group, we can adjust the location we visit for the best experience.

All that I hoped for! - Our tour guide was experienced and professional. I learned more about my camera settings and how to shoot great photos from him than I did in my college photography course. I give the tour more than a five star, it was well worth the booking fee. I can’t wait to get home and print out the photos I captured. The only problem is that I’m unsure how to choose the best ones to print!

First guide tour on first solo trip - I chose this tour during my first solo trip and it turned out to be one of the best tours I’ve had yet!!! Emily is a vibeee she has the best sense of humor and made sure everyone had everything they needed. She took my pictures which I thought I wouldn’t get since I’m on my own but she will make sure they look good!! She also got us all malasadas which were so fire. Definitely made my solo trip memorable and this is just the start of my trip

Sunset photo tour - Very personable and friendly, as well as informative. Made the experience better than expected. Was involved and added personal touches which made it fun, not just informative. She brought our group together so that we all interacted and enjoyed each others company on this beautiful tour. Would definitely recommend! And, would personally request Emily! Sunset was cloudy but the experience was one of a kind - Emily was amazing!! She helped with making every moment feel like a truly special time for myself and my partner. She took her time with everyone and really made the experience one of a kind. I will definitely be checking out OPT on my next visit to HI!

Making memories! - What a great experience! Andrew was not only.informative but engaging, friendly and knowledgeable about Oahu and Hawaiian culture. As a recreational photographer, he took time to assist me and teach me about my camera! I highly recommend!

Wonderful tour! - We very much enjoyed this tour!! Chris was a wonderful tour guide, he made sure we got to experience all the wonderful things the eastern side of Oahu has to offer. We even saw a turtle and a whale! It was a small tour, only 3 of us and it was fantastic. Chris is a great tour guide, he knows a lot about the history of the area. Some of the spots you visit are also more well-known with the locals if that tells you anything. I would book this tour again and recommend to anyone considering. Thank you Chris!

Great tour and awesome guide Kurt. - This was our third tour with Oahu Photography Tours. Kurt was a great guide, very easy to talk to and willing to structure the tour to fit the group. Kurt gave great camera tips for both Apple and Android phones. He was able to share stories about the island and connected with us on a personal level. We were able to see places we would not have known about on our own. Great guide and experience. Enjoy that new car Kurt. We will talk story next time 🤙

A Great Day of Taking Beautiful Photos - This tour was a fantastic opportunity to view and photograph beautiful landscapes around the island of Oahu. Our guide Kurt made the experience so enjoyable. His knowledge of the area and his photographic expertise and advice were appreciated. We enjoyed the small group experience of this day's activities. Kurt answered every question we could think of and more! We had a blast with Kurt as our driver/guide/photography aficionado. He was polite, patient and professional in addition to being knowledgeable and entertaining. We enjoyed the time we spent on this tour and gained more than we ever anticipated. He was a great teacher. Mahalo for the great day, Kurt.

10/10 recommend! Kurt was incredible - I had an amazing experience with Kurt from Oahu Photography Tours. He is incredibly knowledgeable about photography and the locations we visited, and he made a real effort to include everyone in the conversation so no one felt left out. As a solo traveler, I truly appreciated how welcoming and inclusive he was.
Kurt took some fantastic photos of me and the rest of the group, and he also shared helpful tips and tricks for getting great shots using just a phone camera. He was patient, enthusiastic, and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand.
I would absolutely recommend Kurt—10/10 experience and a highlight of my trip to Oahu.

Great way to see Oahu and experience something different - I had an extra day here and found Oahu Photo Tours last minute. Great communication from the jump, and I was surprised they pick up right at the hotel. Kurt was a fantastic guide the whole day - full of energy and enthusiasm for each of us on the tour. He was excited to be there and help make the most of the day.
I wanted to see a little more of Oahu than just Waikiki, and this is a perfect tour for that. Kurt knew a lot about the island and had great suggestions for everyone. I booked the tour specifically for photography, but the rest of the group did not. Even if you just want to see some more of Oahu on a half-day trip, this is a fantastic economical way to do that.
Kurt had a lot of knowledge about smart phone photography so if that's all you have, don't worry - you'll get some great pictures!
