Great experience! A big shout out to Cassy! - We had such an amazing time snorkeling with Captain Bruce! From the moment we got on the boat, the crew made us feel so welcome and excited for the day. Everyone was incredibly friendly, and the whole vibe was just fun and relaxed. We had zero experience with snorkeling or stand up paddle boarding, but the crew explained everything so clearly and patiently. They walked us through each step, made sure we felt comfortable, and kept a close eye on us so we always felt safe in the water. That really made a huge difference and helped us enjoy everything without any stress. The snorkeling itself was absolutely beautiful. We saw so many fish and even turtles, which was such an unforgettable experience. Being out on the water like that felt surreal. On top of that, the food and drinks on the boat were delicious and made the whole trip even better. One of the most memorable parts of the day was when we accidentally lost our phone. Cassy from the crew went above and beyond to help us. We were very nervous but he volunteer and spent extra time to go back to the sandbar, asking around other boats, and thanks to him, he actually found it. This was such a fun, exciting, and well taken care of experience from start to finish. We would absolutely come back again!

Fantastic Time! - It was an absolutely beautiful sand bar with all the sea life you would want to see! We saw 6 turtles and that was just on the way there! And more wonderfully colored fish once we snorkeled. Jasmine was fantastic, so bubbly and energetic and kept the environment fun and exciting, when we saw new things. Captian Z was great! Highly highly recommend!! We also lounged and paddle boarded cant wait to book it again for our next trip!!

Bring your own towel and... - Bring your own towel and you are good to go. Amazing experience went multiple times already. Everytime it feels just right amount of time.

Captain Bruce Kaneohe Sandbar Experience - Very fun day with the Captain Bruce crew out on the Kaneohe sandbar! Great crew, lovely snorkeling and scenery, and tasty snacks! A great trip for all ages - easy to get on and off the boat, different water sports activities available, or just beautiful scenery out on the water if you didn't feel like doing much. All of us really enjoyed this activity and the day. It was definitely a highlight of our trip to Oahu!

Excellent adventure! - Jamie and Karen and the Captain and crew were all friendly and helpful and we saw all kinds of cool ocean life. Great drinks and snacks and equipment. Highly recommend especially if you’re not the most confident swimmer as you can stand in the water if you don’t want to go to the deep water.

Incredible Excursion - Our family of five had an incredible time on this snorkeling adventure! It was truly one of the highlights of our trip. We had a wide range of ages with us — my 21-year-old son who is stationed in Hawaii, my 13-year-old son, and my almost 70-year-old mom — and every one of us loved the experience. That alone says a lot about how well this excursion is run. Captain Casey and his crew were fantastic. They were fun, knowledgeable, and made safety a clear priority while still keeping the experience relaxed and enjoyable. We saw beautiful sea turtles, so many colorful fish, and had a great time snorkeling and paddle boarding. The weather was actually cooler and overcast that day, but it didn’t take away from the experience at all. If anything, it made the adventure feel even more memorable. We left the boat on such a high from everything we experienced. My son who lives in Hawaii has already recommended this excursion to his friends, which says a lot. I would absolutely recommend this trip to anyone visiting!

Amazing snorkeling experience with sea turtles, plus paddle boarding and swimming! - This tour was AMAZING! We went out to a sandbar in the Kaneohe Bay with the clearest water I have ever seen, with sea turtles swimming all around us! They had paddleboards and floats for everyone to use. The water was very shallow so that even children could easily stand up in it. Then we snorkeled at a nearby coral reef. They provided life jackets, goggles, and snorkels, and they even had some prescription goggles if you have a -5.0 or higher eyeglasses prescription. I had brought my own prescription goggles, but I thought it was great that they had some.

10/10 Recommend - Awesome staff, fun activities (paddle boarding and more), followed by snorkelling. I saw tons of unique fish, sea turtles and more. I felt safe the whole time. Stunning views of the clear waters. Would definitely go again.

Great time, weather can affect it though - We had a great time on this tour. The crew was exceptionally good as they love to work together and it shows. The sandbar is really magical and the snorkeling was very good. It was the place I saw the most turtles and fish while on Oahu. Do keep in mind you are at the mercy of the weather. We went out in windy / rainy conditions and we made the best out of it. They have a big barge out on the sandbar with lots of toys - paddleboards, tubes, floating coaches, etc. They weren't super useful in windy / rainy conditions but we did ok. It was still fun to walk around a sandbar in the middle of the ocean. You do that for a little while, then you move onto snorkeling. You only snorkel on one little reef on the backside of the sandbar, but it is a pretty decent reef. Lots of fish and turtles. The visibility wasn't great on the day I went, but it was still pretty good. On a clear, calm day I bet the whole experience is magical. I hope to get back someday (during dry season!) and try it again.

A bit of a letdown due to bad conditions - The outcome if this trip is very dependent on weather conditions. Our trip today happened in less than ideal weather. The waves were very rough and the winds were strong. Which meant any attempts at SUP or other activities in the sandbar were frustrating. The snorkeling part of the trip was slightly better because we saw many kinds of fish but we had to work hard against the waves to swim back to the boat. The number of people snorkeling was large which mean being kicked in your face or having your snorkel mouthpiece being yanked out--as well as being crowded out when the guide was pointing out interesting marine creatures. A semi-private boat is recommended if you don't want to be fighting a crowd. The crew were very nice, pleasant and very helpful and did their best--no reflection on them, just the weather was awful for water activities today plus too many folks.
