- Diamond Head State Monument - The first lookout offers an elevated view from the eastern side of Waikiki’s renowned Diamond Head Volcano. This spot provides a fantastic opportunity for photos of Oahu’s southeastern coastline, with sights extending to Hanauma Bay and Maui on clear days. Officially known as Amelia Earhart Lookout, it is famous for being where spectators gathered to watch Earhart’s first solo flight from Hawaii to North America.
- Halona Blowhole - Formed by molten lava tubes from eruptions at Oahu’s Koko Head crater, the Halona Blowhole is a natural wonder. The lava tube extends into the ocean with a narrow opening at the top, and when conditions are right, water pressure builds up and erupts through the opening, creating a spectacular Hawaiian geyser.
- Makapu’u Beach - Experience Waimanalo’s dramatic sea cliffs as the journey turns to Oahu’s windward side, heading to the North Shore. The azure blue waters of the bay reveal Oahu’s famous Manana Island, also known as Rabbit Island due to its rabbit-like shape.
- Tropical Farms (The Macadamia Nut Farm Outlet) - After a scenic drive along Oahu’s eastern coastline, the next stop is a local shop nestled under aged Banyan Trees, offering macadamia nut and Kona coffee tastings, along with tempting Hawaiian chocolates and other treats.
- Mokoli’i Island - Known as Chinaman’s Hat, Mokolii is located next to the Kualoa Valley Mountain range. This site is famous for its dramatic landscape featured in numerous Hollywood films, most notably Jurassic Park. The island’s nickname, Chinaman’s Hat, comes from its resemblance to the straw hats worn by Chinese immigrants working on Oahu’s sugar plantations in the early 1900s.
- Kahuku Farms - Enjoy a famous North Shore Shrimp Lunch on a local Hawaiian farm.
The guide will lead a tour through a local taro patch at the base of the Koʻolau Mountain Range, offering a firsthand look at ancient Hawaiian agricultural practices that continue to sustain local families. Lunch is served at the farm’s restaurant, featuring North Shore delicacies like Garlic Shrimp, Coconut Shrimp, and Kalua Pork. Vegetarian options are available. Please bring cash for lunch.
- Oahu’s North Shore - Tropical Fruit Stands
After lunch, visit North Shore tropical fruit stands offering ice-cold coconuts, fresh mangos, and other tropical delights.
- Haleiwa Town Center - Explore the outskirts of Haleiwa Town, with pineapple, coffee, and agricultural fields.
- Dole Plantation - A historic pineapple plantation offering pineapple magnets, t-shirts, keychains, and the famous pineapple ice cream, Dole Whip. It’s a perfect way to end the day and pick up pineapple-themed souvenirs for friends and family.
- Sandy Beach Park - Located on the South Shore of Oʻahu, Sandy Beach is renowned for excellent bodyboarding and bodysurfing due to its shore break and consistent barrels.
- Waimanalo Beach - Waimanalo boasts stunning white sand beaches, snorkeling with likely sightings of honu (Hawaiian green sea turtles), charming eateries, roaming wild chickens, and family-owned farms.
- North Shore - Hawaii Green Sea Turtle Beach Snorkeling
Hono is the Hawaiian name for the cherished Green Sea Turtles. These turtles love to bask on the sand under the warm sun. The tour includes a visit to a beach for 90 minutes, hoping to witness this amazing sight, with snorkeling gear provided for a swim alongside a green sea turtle. Snorkel gear is included in the tour price. Guests are advised to bring sunscreen and a towel.
- Sunset Beach - Offering a peaceful alternative to Waikiki’s crowded beaches, the renowned Sunset Beach on the North Shore epitomizes a beautiful Hawaiian beach. However, during winter months, swells of 30 to 40 feet can be observed safely from the shore.
