• Waimea Botanical Gardens, Oahu - Waimea Valley, located on Oahu’s North Shore, is a site of historical cultural significance. It features historical structures like stone terraces and walls from the Hawaiian monarchy era. Enjoy the picturesque waterfall that cascades into a pool surrounded by lush greenery. Swimming is permitted, with life vests provided at no extra cost. Entrance is $20 per adult. The 3/25 mile walk may not suit everyone, so consider the $20 round-trip golf cart ride. The path to the waterfall is natural and rocky, so bringing reef or water shoes is optional. Pacific Islanders historically walked barefoot through the valley in the 1800s.
• Liliha Bakery - This bakery offers delicious pastries, oxtail soup, loco moco, miso butter fish, prime rib, cheeseburger deluxe, and salads. Known for generous portions, reasonable prices, and a casual diner-like atmosphere, with quick and friendly service.
• North Shore Macadamia Nut Company - Located in Haleiwa, Hawaii, this company is a popular stop for locally grown and roasted macadamia nuts, offering flavors like honey-roasted and caramel-coated, along with macadamia nut coffee and other local treats. Known for its friendly, family-run atmosphere, free samples, and educational experience about the nuts, including short tours and farm history. • Nu’uanu Pali Lookout - Nuʻuanu Pali is a dramatic cliff and lookout on Oʻahu, Hawaii, offering panoramic views of the windward coast (Kaneohe, Kailua) and known for its powerful, constant winds. Note that there won’t be time to ride the train or explore the maze due to long lines, as this stop is only for 30 minutes.
