- Halona Blowhole - This natural marvel on Oahu was created by volcanic activity thousands of years ago. The Halona Blowhole occasionally propels seawater up to 30 feet into the air as waves rush through the underwater lava tubes. The viewing area offers a breathtaking view of Halona Cove, a picturesque beach featured in numerous films and music videos. Visiting in winter might reward you with sightings of whales in the nearby waters.
- Sandy Beach Park - Known for its powerful shore breaks and fine sand, Sandy Beach is a tranquil and serene spot. This beautiful, secluded stretch of sand lies just beyond the popular Halona Blowhole. The beach offers a magnificent scene, reached after a drive along the lava rock cliffs of Koko Head Crater.
- Makapu’u Point - Offers stunning coastal views and vistas of offshore islands. Gazing into the azure waters of the bay, you can spot Oahu’s famous Manana Island, also known as Rabbit Island due to its rabbit-like shape.
- Byodo-In Temple - Oahu’s Byodo-In Temple was constructed to honor the 100th anniversary of the first Japanese immigrants arriving in Hawai’i in 1868. Known as Phoenix Hall in Japan, the temple resembles the outstretched wings of a bird or features a Phoenix atop the roof. Walking around the back reveals the building’s T-shape, with a pond flowing beneath the temple’s rear.
Built over three years, the temple was dedicated in June 1968 with a traditional Buddhist ceremony. It has since become one of Oahu’s top ten attractions, drawing over 300,000 visitors annually.
Inside, the temple houses a Lotus Buddha with brass artwork adorning the ceiling. Beyond the impressive structure and Buddha, the surrounding gardens and pond offer immense beauty.

- Laniakea Beach - TURTLE BEACH - Situated on Oahu’s North Shore, Laniakea Beach is renowned for frequent sightings of Hawaiian green sea turtles, earning it the nickname “Turtle Beach.” It’s a fantastic spot to watch gentle waves bring turtles ashore for sunbathing, making it one of Hawaii’s most reliable turtle-watching locations.
- Oahu’s North Shore - SUNSET BEACH - Known for its legendary big-wave surfing, Sunset Beach hosts surfing contests from November to April. A peaceful contrast to Waikiki’s crowded beaches, this iconic North Shore beach epitomizes a beautiful Hawaiian beach.
