Kamoauli is a locally owned, all-wood, double-hulled, traditional sailing vessel (wa’a kaulua) that provides a unique native Hawaiian cultural and educational adventure. Sail along the stunning Waikiki coastline and delve into the stories and history of the area (Mo‘olelo) as reflected through the land (ʻāina) and ocean (moana) aboard this sea-based classroom. The cultural practitioner and crew engage guests in interactive activities, using native materials to create food, clothing, tools, and other traditional items. Guests are encouraged to ask questions, explore the deck, nets, and hulls, participate in poi (taro) pounding, or simply relax and enjoy. ‘Ukulele music and traditional chants (‘oli), along with locally-sourced traditional food and drinks, enhance this exceptional experience.
