Turtle snorkeling guides are in the water and offer basic snorkeling instructions for beginners. Flotation devices are available, and there are underwater scooter-powered rescue floats for those who are less confident swimmers.

At Snorkel with Turtles Hawaii, we pride ourselves on being one of the few tour operators that takes you away from the bustling Waikiki snorkelers, ensuring you share the water with no more than one other snorkel boat for miles around. Our shop is conveniently located just a 15-minute drive from Hawaii Kai Marina, situated on the picturesque South East Corner of Oahu, operating in the beautiful Maunalua Bay.

While nearly all other snorkel charters take you to the same crowded spots outside of Waikiki, we choose locations visited by only one or two other operators. The vast majority (95% of Oahu’s snorkel charters) head to the same area, where you’ll find 10-20 other boats and potentially over 100 snorkelers, making boats and snorkelers the only guaranteed sights. We aim for you to truly experience the wildlife and natural beauty of our oceans, so we steer clear of the crowds!
