Our new Hawaiian Cousin, Kurt. Fantastic - Kurt was a great guide. He has graphic artist experience and loves to teach others. Kurt provided tips and tricks I’ve never heard of, it helped us get fantastic photos! His recommendations for food and places to see, are spot on ! If you can take his tour on the first few days of your stay, you will gain great insider knowledge. If it’s near the end of your stay, you will want to stay longer ! Don’t miss out on this tour with Kurt. He spends time getting to know each quest and helps improves their photography skills. By the end of the trip you will have family in Hawaii, “cousin Kurt” I will be exploring some of his other tours on my next trip to Oahu!

Perfect small group sight seeing tour - Kurt was on time picking us up at our desire location. He’s very knowledgeable and friendly. Kurt really made our day go by so fast and he goes above and beyond to make sure we get to see everything. The photography lessons he gave us were so helpful. Thanks for a wonderful time, this was definitely a great way to sight see with a smaller group.

Ideal day trip around Oahu! - Kurt was a great guide! Knew tons about the island and was passionate to share. He is a great salesman for Oahu! Will definitely do a tour with this group again when I’m back. He was great with timing - got us to the tourist hotspots at the right time to avoid crowds. This was great as we didn’t waste any time!

A must do tour with a great guide - Mac was the best guide and the tour was amazing. The stops were as described but better than I expected.

A must-do tour in Oahu — Especially for solo travelers - This is truly a tour you shouldn’t miss in Oahu, especially if you’re traveling solo. Kurt is an incredible guide who kept us laughing the entire time. I’m not great at photography, but Kurt shared so many helpful tips and techniques that I was actually able to capture some stunning shots — something I didn’t expect! The local food stops were another highlight. I probably wouldn’t have discovered or tried those delicious spots without Kurt’s guidance. My favorite moments were watching the sunrise at Sandy Beach and spotting turtles at Turtle Bay — absolutely unforgettable. Highly recommended, especially if it’s your first time in Oahu!

An Unforgettable and Fun Photo Experience! - I can't express just how marvelous our tour was! My girlfriend and I had only gotten in the night before, and weren't sure we'd be up for a 10-hour tour -- but the entire experience was breathtaking, and the time absolutely flew by! We began at 5am, conveniently picked up nearby our hotel by Mac -- such a charming fellow, very friendly, knowledgable and funny! -- he started by taking our small tour group to a local beach to capture the sunrise... When I booked the tour, I hadn't realized it was a photography tour, but that made it even better! Mac helped all the members of our group to capture some stunning shots of the sunrise, whether we used our phones or professional cameras -- both my girlfriend and myself ended up with some amazing shots of the dawn. We went from there to a nearby mountain overlooking the bay, and were even able to explore some of the WWII pillboxes built into it... From there, we went and checked out a local market with some outstanding breakfast sandwiches and a wonderful ambiance... After that, we moved along to the incredibly beautiful Byodo-In temple -- if you've ever seen pictures of it, they don't do it justice... such a tranquil place. I could describe the rest of the stunning sights and experiences we had (inculding trying the famous Leonard's masaladas), but it's better for you to try it out for yourself! It was our first tour with Oahu Photography Tours, and it won't be the last! And if you have the chance, see if you can get your tour with Mac, he was one of the best parts of the whole experience! Thank you so much, Mac!!

Such an awesome tour!... - Such an awesome tour! WELL worth the money!! We had a super small group and our tour guide was super knowledgeable. We even stopped to see a monk seal and two turtles.

The Best Way to See O'ahu! - I just did Oahu Photo Tours' Complete Island Tour & Sunrise Photo Experience by myself, and it was completely one of the best experiences of my entire trip. I somehow ended up getting the photos of my life: just because of the beautiful locations we went, but also due to the amazing photography techniques I learned along the way. The guide was also very informative and very welcoming, making sure everyone was included; although I was traveling alone, I never felt lonely at all. In fact, the guide took some beautiful shots of me at the most scenic spots, which was very thoughtful of them. I also loved the thoughtfully chosen food stops and engaging conversation about the history and culture of O'ahu. The tour was informative and inspiring, and I left with newfound skills and a deeper understanding and appreciation of the island. Highly recommended for anyone: solo or with friends, who'd love to experience O'ahu in a unique and local way (and elevate their photography skills)!
