After your Segway riding lesson, we will glide out and loop around historic Kapiolani Park and the Honolulu Zoo, taking Diamond Head Road past the historic Lighthouse to the Amelia Earhart Lookout. Here we will enjoy the gorgeous ocean views, take photos, talk a little story and then head back…
Enjoy a fun and informative Sunset to Diamond Head Tour. After your Segway riding lesson, we will glide out and loop around historic Kapiolani Park and the Honolulu Zoo, taking Diamond Head Road past the historic Lighthouse to the Amelia Earhart Lookout. Here we will enjoy the gorgeous ocean views, take photos, talk a little story and then head back down to Coconut Avenue and a quick peak of the historic Cottages and glide to the Waikiki War Natatorium, and pick up the Queens Beach Promenade to the Duke Kahanamoku Statue for a beautiful Hawaiian Sunset and back to our starting point.
- It is recommended that guests wear comfortable shoes (flip flops or sneakers), light-casual clothes, sunglasses, and sunscreen. We will provide a cold bottle of water and be sure to bring your cell phones and cameras, because we take lots of opportunities to stop at scenic points to take photos, especially at Sunset Time!
- Minimum age to ride Segway is 10
- Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied on tour with an adult who take responsibility for the minor.
- Minimum weight requirement is 75 lbs / 36 kilos.
- Maximum weight requirement is 270 lbs / 136 kilos.
- Please provide your in-destination contact info (cell phone #) or hotel information in the special requirements field at check-out. This information is mandatory in the event of weather cancellations or late arrivals.

Segway Sunset Perfection! - Segway of Hawaii has been one of my favorite events in Hawaii.Each of the many sunset Segway experiences has been pure perfection including both the sunset, the guides and the wonderful support getting signed up. The guides are personable, knowledgeable and kind which makes the tour even better. I highly recommend this to anyone who comes to Honolulu!

Great Experience! - This was a great experience end to end! Our guide, Michael, was great! He was very informative and fun and showed us a lot of great spots. He also took a lot of good photos and videos of us. This was a great way to check out Hawaii quickly and we got to watch the sunset in a spot away from the crowds. We’ve done Segway tours before in different areas and it’s such a fun time. Highly recommended!

Phenomenal Experience - We were switched to the Magic Island tour but that was not an issue at all - Michael and Aaron were amazing tour guides - my wife and I felt very safe and the guys were always watching to make sure everyone was safe and kept up. Michael gave us great information about the island and also very informative ideas on what to do for the remainder of our stay on Oahu. After the tour, he even gave us a map with excellent food and sight-seeing ideas for the entire island. I would highly recommend this Segway tour to anyone who comes to Oahu!!

Great Family Fun!! - Such a wonderful experience! Jeanne was so flexible and awesome to work with on getting us scheduled. Michael, our guide, was fantastic and made sure we all had a blast! Safe, fun, informative, and beautiful… and everyone had a great time!! Highly recommend the sunset tour!

Michael Made Our Segway Dreams Come True! - This was a wonderful experience . MICHAEL was an exceptional guide -- professional, personable, knowledgeable, fun and charming. The shop and Seqways were extremely well-cared for and maintained. It looked like all of the Segways and the line-up of cool helmet choices were all brand new. We toured Waikiki and the Diamond Head -- almost to the top of the crater. Great views, beautiful sunsets, exploring some "lesser appreciated vistas and historic sites. Finished with a sunset drive along the Waikiki beachfront. MICHAEL is a great photographer and was kind enough to take about 50 pictures of us along the ride. Great overall experience that I cannot recommend highly enough -- WE WILL DO THIS AGAIN!

So much fun! - Really enjoyed this activity. I was really apprehensive about it at first being that I can't even ride a bike but Michael was a great teacher and gave us a lesson on how to ride the segway and what not to do. I was nervous of course but 10mins into the tour I was confident in my ability to ride the segway. Michael was a great guide gave us good information on places to visit and eat while on the Island as well as some history. We really enjoyed this activity 10/10 would recommend it was a fun and unique experience.

The sun was hiding, but the tour shone - Segway tours are always fun, but this one, on less-traveled roads, was the best I've ever done. Jacquelyn, our guide, was witty, careful, and knowledgeable. What could be more delightful than Shirley Temple's house on your left and the surf on your right? It was a cloudy day, so the sunset was not spectacular, but that was the only thing lacking. I highly recommend it, and I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

Fun and informative - We loved our tour with Jacklyn. She was so pleasant and knowledgeable! We’ve been to Waikiki in the past but she brought us to sights we hadn’t seen previously. Only thing we wondered about later was that we didn’t go on the beach. We were close to the beach most of the whole trip but maybe there isn’t an area with firm enough sand? The picture on the ad looks like you’re actually on the beach.

Great guides but had some serious hiccups - I have been debating about leaving a review about my tour, but the more I thought about it, the more I realized that I need to voice my experience. While Aaron and Michael were wonderful guides and teachers for those new to the Segway, I was disappointed in the fact in the tour itinerary change. Through some unforeseen circumstances, the tour changed from a beach Segway tour to a completely different tour. And I was told of the change the same day, so no real option but to adjust. We ended up going through several parks in the Ala Moana area (I believe) and if a cop were to pull us over and give us a breathalyzer, we might have gotten arrested for a DUI!!..sad but true.
Another disappointment is the cost and the fact that tipping (20% no less) was automatically charged without my consent or knowledge. I went to give Michael a tip and that is when he told me that it was being automatically added. I looked at my confirmation to see if there was any notice of that and not remember that.
But I didn't see anything. It does state that 15-20% is appreciated, but nothing to indicate that it would be added automatically. I did notice that TAX was charged as well. Now, why does a tour get taxed?? I took 3 other tours on my trip and not one was taxed, but this one was?? Don't understand that.
Therefore, if you are thinking of booking a Sunset on the Beach Tour, from what it looked like to me, that tour is not going to be happening anytime soon.
