The Discover Scuba Diving Experience offers an unforgettable introduction to the underwater realm. For many participants, this marks their first time breathing underwater, often becoming a truly transformative experience.

What to Expect

Participants will start by learning fundamental scuba safety guidelines and essential skills from a certified PADI Instructor. Following a brief boat ride, they will enter the water to practice these skills at the surface in a calm, supportive setting with personalized guidance from the instructor.

Once everyone feels comfortable and confident, it’s time to embark on the scuba diving adventure. A PADI Instructor will guide participants on two shallow dives through the stunning Hawaiian waters, exploring vibrant reef systems and marine life.

Between dives, enjoy a relaxing break on the boat while taking in the breathtaking views of Oahu’s coastline, including Diamond Head, Koko Head, and the ridgeline of Hanauma Bay.

Turtles! Turtles! Turtles!
Explore popular turtle-cleaning stations. What is a turtle-cleaning station? It’s exactly what it sounds like! Turtles visit these specific reefs to have smaller fish ‘clean’ their shells. It’s almost like a turtle car wash! These turtle cleaning stations are fantastic places to spot turtles while scuba diving!

Instructors will guide participants along two vibrant Hawaiian shallow reefs. As they glide through the clear blue waters, instructors will point out various sea creatures, both large and small, such as monk seals, turtles, dolphins, fish, nudibranchs, and much more, throughout the scuba tour. Scuba divers will witness amazing colorful reef fish (many of which are unique to Hawaii, meaning they can only be found in Hawaiian waters) and beautiful coral.
