Enjoy a Morning Beach Yoga or Sunset Yoga session in the tranquil setting of Waikiki beach oceanfront, renowned for its breathtaking sunset views with Diamond Head Crater as your backdrop. Our classes are crafted to offer visitors a moment of focused stillness, allowing them to truly experience the essence of Hawaii. Away from the busy Waikiki hotels, you’ll find a deeper connection to Hawaii’s land and nature as you mindfully observe the swaying trees, drifting clouds, and surfers riding the waves. Classes cater to all levels, and many visitors seize this chance to try yoga for the first time.
Morning classes are typically quieter and more serene in the park, offering a gentle and relaxing flow under the soothing shade of the grand banyan tree. Private beach yoga and yoga hikes are also available in secluded natural areas across the island, including nearby Ala Moana and Magic Island.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- Not recommended for pregnant women or those injured without own medical advice
- Please bring water and large towel to use. unless you rent a mat from us
- Please note that we are outdoors with no lockers. You may wish to leave unnecessary valuables at home.

Directions: Beach Yoga: Large Grassy area on the right of Waikiki Aquarium (if facing the ocean) against the water between aquarium and barefoot cafe.
Walk to the center of the park - up front against the water's edge Find the row of 3 picnic tables with the metal/vines covering.
Scan the park with your eyes, but wait at tables patiently for the instructor who will be wearing a company shirt.
Mornings: Look under the large center banyan tree for shade.
Parking: Free street parking available. Meters are free after 6 pm. Give yourself extra time on weekends for parking spaces to open. If taking cab, bus or walking, the aquarium is a great stop to look for us on the grass area to its right, using directions and photos.

Very relaxing and... - Very relaxing and uplifting. Instructor (Olivia) was kind, informative, and inspiring. Scenery was beautiful and available to rent mats was a nice touch. Would recommend to others

Wonderful! - This was one of the highlights of my trip. The scenery was beautiful, and the teacher (Olivia) was great at mentioning what modifications I could make to get the most out of the experience. I really appreciated her care and wisdom.

Highly recommend yoga by the beach w Olivia! - Yoga by the beach with Olivia was a beautiful way to start my day! She is a great yoga instructor who checked in with me at the beginning about previous yoga practices and what I enjoyed :) Olivia incorporates breathing awareness, pacing to match where you're at and adjustments to support your positions. Was a lovely and unique experience to practice yoga next to a large banyan tree looking out to the ocean 🌊 I ended up being the only student so I was able to get the class basically as a private one which was a cherry on top! Highly recommend yoga with Olivia 🧘♀️

Yoga in Hawaii - Doing the sunset class is a beautiful way to finish a great day in Hawaii! The park is vibrant the view of the ocean right in front of you and the sunset breathtaking! To top it off Olivia is one of the best Yoga teachers I have had the privilege to practice with!!! She is mindful of the sunset and makes sure her students are in the perfect pose to see it unfold!!! I was in Hawaii for a month and did 10 classes with Olivia! This was a great experience and added so much peace and happiness to my vacation!!!

Easy to sign up, excellent instructor, beautiful environment. - Once again my holiday in Honolulu included yoga with Olivia through Beach Sunset Yoga, although I always choose the 9:00 am class. She tailors the class to meet the needs of all levels of students, while also offering some classical yoga which I have not tried before or not in a long while. Her warm energy and encouraging ways make event tense newbies feel safe and welcome. The birds and surf and sky, and being on the cool grass make the whole thing a delight. I will be back next time I'm on holiday!

Sunset and yoga better together! - Very nice. Made sure to check on me by text to help me find the location. I appreciate that it was on grass the sand is not stable here. Got to see beautiful sunset. Good teacher. Sit close so other park sounds don't override.

Ocean view yoga - Fantastic yoga for various levels! The instructor is very knowledgeable and kind. I appreciated the guidance to relax the mind and body when practicing yoga. Modifications to make poses more or less challenging were provided. The class was under a giant tree with a view of the ocean. Amazing.

The yoga experience is... - The yoga experience is what you make it! A little difficult to find - I walked around to different groups of people rolling out their mats trying to find the right one. I asked if it was the viator group because the instructor did not have a logo shirt like the directions say. I was the only participant who booked through viator. The view was great. Instructor was difficult to hear because of the surroundings. Again, it’s what you make of it!

Beware Travelers - I'm extremely disappointed with the lack of integrity and poor customer service I experienced with this company. I originally booked the class for the wrong day and reached out to have the class changed. was assured in advance that they could accommodate my needs for a specific class via text message. However, the merchant later went back on their word and failed to provide the promised accommodation. I was told to reach out later that evening to confirm the changed classes by the instructor of the yoga class. Despite this, I was told there would not be a Monday session before my departure. They refused to refund my payment, even after confirming my participation in a different class initially. I informed the instructor and Viator that this was our last day on the island and would not be able to participate in any of the addition days offered later in week. This experience felt misleading and unprofessional, and I wouldn't recommend this business to anyone seeking honest and reliable service.
