Best tour I’ve done in Honolulu. - This was a fantastic experience. Not only was the communication outstanding from Francesco but the whole tour totally exceeded my expectations. The boat was well equipped and in immaculate condition, the offering of drinks was kind and thoughtful and the highlight of course was the turtles who surfaced quite close to our small group of 6. We were fortunate that it was a perfect Hawaii day, blue skies, just the slightest breeze and clear seas helped us to also sea schools of dolphins, a multitude of fish as well as migrating humpback whales. Have I mentioned the courteous, personable and knowledgeable crew? I cannot recommend this tour highly enough.

The best tour I’ve done in Hawaii - Wow!! This tour exceeded my expectations by a long way. I’ve just come to visit for a few days so I booked just the one tour and I’m so glad that this was it. The high quality of the staff cannot be overstated, their knowledge, sense of polite humility, professionalism etc was amazing. Not to mention we saw a number of turtles at quite a close range, spinner dolphins and humpback whales. For a tour with a duration of 2 hours we spent a full hour, at least, in the ocean and the rest of the time enjoying the scenery.

Best pick for your sea turtle adventure - Sam and Ella were awesome guides for our snorkel experience. Sam was great at explaining everything to be safe on the boat and had some solid dad jokes. Ella was very knowledgeable out in the water and provide lots of facts about the fish and sea turtles. Both of them were incredibly kind and passionate about their jobs. Got to hold a sea urchin while out there and saw a ton of sea turtles. It was wonderful having a small group. Would definitely snorkel with ocean charters again!

Turtle Snorkel trip. - First Class service and personal. They went out of their way by rescheduling our Snorkel trip. Sam and crew were personable and professional. I would recommend this trip. Saw fish Turtles and they even tried tries to whales
Talked about local history and customs.

Our favorite snorkeling excursion - This tour was fantastic and the highlight of our trip. The best snorkeling adventure we went on. They were great with the kids, very knowledgeable about the area, took us to great spots for snorkeling and watching where the water was clear. Having the group of 6 on the boat was wonderful for getting on and off the boat. Never felt rushed. Was definitely worth the semi private price. Highly highly recommend this crew.

10/10 - We had an absolutely incredible time on the Turtle Canyon snorkel tour! From start to finish, Ella and Jake were friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive — making sure everyone in our group was comfortable, safe, and having a great time in the water.
The marine life was stunning. We saw tons of beautiful fish, numerous sea turtles up close, and even dolphins playing nearby, which made the adventure truly unforgettable. The snorkeling gear provided — including fins, masks, life vests, anti-fog spray, and cold water and sodas — was high quality and made everything effortless. They made sure every piece fit well and that we knew how to use it before getting in the water.
Ella and Jake took great care of our group throughout the trip — offering helpful guidance in the water and checking in with everyone regularly. Their professionalism and enthusiasm really elevated the experience.
The small group size made it feel personal and stress-free, and the crew’s attention to detail really stood out. We had an amazing time from start to finish and would 10/10 book again. I highly recommend this snorkel tour to anyone visiting Waikiki!

Top Notch! - No need to look any further- this is by far the best provider on the Island! You will be greeted with knowledgeable and friendly staff, who clearly love their jobs! We had a toddler who wasn’t quite ready for the experience, and they went above and beyond to ensure safety and help her enjoy the experience. Definitely worth booking- worth every penny!

Amazing turtle canyon snorkelling experience - We went with captain Francesco (also known as nachos), Ella and Haley. We had a great time. The boat was very nice and the small group was great. The equipment was of high quality which made getting the hang of snorkeling very easy to pick up. Ella and Haley guided us in the water and I think we were in the water for about 45 min. I felt that it was just the right amount of time. We saw a few turtles plus lots of colourful fish. The boat ride was about 15-20 min each way which was very pleasant too. I would highly recommend this tour and provider.

Knowledgeable Guides and lots of beautiful fish - Hawaii Ocean Charters was very communicative and accommodating. The day we originally booked our excursion, the weather ended up being bad, so they contacted us and offered alternate dates, and allowed us to switch at the last minute when the second date didn't work. The staff were very knowledgeable and shared insights about the area's marine life, as well as answering questions about things to do onshore. The only thing that was a bit more difficult on this excursion was the number of people. Our group had ~20 people, and then there were 10+ other boats in the same area, snorkeling. I found this very overcrowded, with people swimming into me and not being mindful of their surroundings. We chose the midday excursion, so it may be better to do it earlier in the day.
