We are thrilled to have you join us for a beginner surf lesson—prepare for a fun, safe, and unforgettable experience on the waves of one of the world’s most iconic beaches. The lesson begins on the beach with a land-based introduction where you’ll learn the fundamentals of surfing. This includes ocean safety, positioning on the board, paddling techniques, popping up and standing, and some surf etiquette to help you safely share the waves with others. Once you’re feeling confident, we’ll head into the water together. Waikiki’s warm, gentle waves are ideal for beginners, and your instructor will be right by your side, assisting you in catching waves and standing up—most students ride their first wave during this initial session! The water portion lasts from one to two hours, focusing on having fun while learning at your own pace. After the surf session, we’ll return to shore to discuss how it went. Whether it’s your first time on a surfboard or you’re just refreshing your basics, we’re here to ensure your lesson is exciting, supportive, and full of aloha spirit.
