The provided SUV can accommodate up to 4 passengers for a fixed cost. This makes it an excellent choice for commemorating unique events or simply having a fun journey with your family and children. Further, this tour lets you align your itinerary as per your preferences, allowing you to visit those sights which align best with your requirements and hobbies.
- Child rate applies only when accompanied by 2 paying adults
- Children between 1-8 years (or heaver than 20 pounds) must be in in the back seat (some exceptions apply) and strapped into either: - A rear-facing car seat until they reach the maximum height/weight limit for the seat - A front-facing car seat with a 5 point harness until they reach the maximum height/weight limit for the seat - A booster seat if under 4 feet 9 inches and over the height/weight limit for a car seat - A regular seat belt in the back seat if taller than 4 feet 9 inches
- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- Glacier Point is usually closed during winter from November to April. Any of the tour highlights may be closed due to weather or construction. We will do our best to show alternative sites.
- Infants from 0-1 years must be in the back seat strapped into a rear-facing car seat until they reach 20 pounds
- Parents with small children must provide car seats and/or booster seats if necessary

Wonderful in every respect! - My wife and I opted for the private SUV tour - it was fantastc!!! Our tour guide Laurie was wonderful! She has so much experience, knows every turn and view, has an incredible wealth of interesting information and it was fun to spend the day with her. We highly recommend this tour and you should ask if you can get Laurie for your guide. Best, Keith from Portland

Epic Private Journey to Yosemite & Glacier Point – An Unmatched Experience! - Had an incredible private tour to Yosemite and Glacier Point! The van was super comfy, and the hotel pickup made everything so easy. The views were jaw-dropping—truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience!

Private Tour from Fresno to Yosemite NP with our guide Daniel - A "Bucket List" visit to Yosemite National Park almost did not eventuate!!
Following months of planning our pre booked tour to the Park was cancelled
We,( my Son, Granddaughter and I) arrived late afternoon in Fresno having travelled quite a long distance there in an SUV with the idea of visiting Yosemite next morning.
However the tour was cancelled due to insufficient numbers. It was to be our second last day in USA as we were returning home to Australia. We were devastated as there was little hope of us returning in the future - so near and yet so far.
The Co-ordinator from Crossroads Tours was sympathetic to our plight and arranged to provide a special private tour for the 3 of us. To our delight and early start the next morning the wonderful Daniel came to our rescue - and so began one of the most interesting and memorable days of our lives.
Daniel told us how he and his siblings had used Yosemite as their playground when they were growing up as they lived in Oakdale close by. He told us countless entertaining stories in a quiet and engaging way and encouraged us to ask questions. No questions were left unanswered, his knowledge is superior.
His knowledge was endless about the early inhabitants of the Park, the different tribes of Indians and their survival in harsh conditions; the settlers who built cabins; the intrepid adventurers who still attempt to climb El Capitan every year; the animals who live in the Park; the names of the beautiful trees and herbs; waterfalls; mountains - so many incredible things.
We were thrilled when it began snowing during lunch at the beautiful old Hotel and excited with the picture postcard scenes we captured in photos to take home to show friends.
Daniel gallantly saved my mum more than once from sliding in the snow!!
We did not want the day to end.
Without our excellent guide Daniel, it would never have started.
You will not be disappointed by requesting Daniel to be your guide.
BECAUSE OF YOU DANIEL WE HAVE SO MANY WONDERFUL MEMORIES OF YOSEMITE THANK YOU SO MUCH FROM THE 3 OF US.

Great knowledgeable guide helped us make the most of a short visit! - Brian was a great tour guide, he was super knowledgeable and helped us make the most of our day at Yosemite. Rather than worrying about driving and traffic, we were able to sit back and enjoy the scenery and get a lot of knowledge about the park and its history, as well as recent events, like fires.

wow wow wow - wow! we were so fortunate to have Daniel as our guide for the day! celebrating a 60th birthday there were 6 of us and from the moment Daniel picked us up to the end of the day we learned so much about california history( all of us native californians) and yosemite. We were blown away with stories and the visions of the beautiful waterfalls and different viewpoints of Half Dome and El Capitan where we were able to see climbers on the rock. it was fantastic and the highlight of our weekend. Daniel is a gem and his life experiences will be unforgettable to us and we are grateful and fortunate to have met him and had him as our guide. he is a historical treasure to the state of california.

Yosemite dog friendly tour - Our guide, Julie was lovely. She took us to all the pet friendly spots in Yosemite and treated our dog with such care. She gave us alot of insider tips, and took us to the best locations for photos. Would highly recommend.

Best tour ever ! - We had the most magical day with Daniel. We toured many spots in the park, did a beautiful hike, learned a great deal of history. My son had a severe asthma attack on the hike - Daniel picked bay leaves, crushed them, my son inhaled them and it miraculously stopped his wheezing. What a heroic, knowledgeable guide - we so highly recommend!

Great Yosemite Experience - Crossroads set up a great tour with Cynthia as our guide. She picked us up from our hotel and hit all the big spots and found some off the beaten path locations as well. Money well spent so we could enjoy the views while driving up the mountain and not have to worry about parking or knowing where to go. She had wonderful historical stories and personal stories of the valley. And the lunch provided was delicious, we had a mix of the Indian vegetarian and vegetarian.

Our Guide and the Tour Were Amazing! - Our guide Sandy was absolutely amazing! She knew the park really well and stopped or pointed out many things I’d not seen or known from other times visiting the park. My expectation was high but Sandy & Crossroads still exceeded them. I am already planning another adventure for another friend thinking about visiting CA in the near future!

Canceled at last minute - We did not even go on the tour. We were to have the tour booked on 10/2/23- I had scheduled way in advance, talked to a agent, and had received several emails to print my tickets. On September 27th I received an email with no explanation that my tour was canceled and my money was being refunded. When I contacted the agent the answer I got is that it was canceled for "unforeseen circumstances" . Very unreliable and unprofessional.
