You get to truly understand the culture process and meaning behind Mezcal and try a variety of their products. Special shout out to Maryori for being such a wonderful guide and making the experience unforgettable. Definitely something to do while in Oaxaca.

Really fun and informative - I enjoy mezcal tasting, but never knew how it was made. This was a great tour that explains the process from start to finish, and explains the different types of mezcal. A special treat was a ride into the fields to see the cultivated agave being grown and harvested. We also visited a pulqueria to taste agua de miel, pulque and tepache. I would highly recommend this tour.

A unique experience - Do not miss this experience, very complete, fun and very well explained by Ricardo, our guide. I highly recommend it. It was best to decant the mezcal between agaves.

This is a memory you will have forever - I hope you have an opportunity to experience the community at this distillery. Everyone was extraordinary and the experience is a memory of a lifetime. You see the process of making Mezcal from the start to finish. Every single piece of the process is done by hand.

Mixing as a family - It was a very enriching experience from the cultural point of view and family coexistence. I attended with my two children, 19 and 21. Our guide made the tour very enjoyable and additionally provided data that complemented the knowledge of the process to produce both artisanal and ancestral mezcal. We walked the process and had the opportunity to ask questions and try different types of mezcals, from the sprat that is the most common to the one aged for three years in oak barrels. During the tour in the planting fields, we had a bilingual guide that complemented the information. We stopped at a house to taste mead, pulche and tepache. In conclusion, highly recommended

We were given an... - We were given an excellent pick-up service from our hostel and taken out of town to a Mezcal distillery. The day out at the distillery and then the Agave fields was so much fun, as we were taken on an old barrell bus and provided with more than enough Mezcal for one day! This is a really great tour to pick and you definitely get a lot of bang for you buck compared to other more popular tours with tourists. Easily one of the most fun days we have had in Mexico 🇲🇽 😀

Mal de Amor Mezcal Tour - This was our first time in Oaxaca and our first time tasting Mezcal. Vladimir communicated with us every step of the way, picked us up at the hotel, conducted the tour himself, and drove us back home. He gave us several tastings of different Mezcals and really gave us some great information. Alejandro was our tour guide on the bus tour of the field. He was great, very informative, and very fun. On our way back to the hotel, Vladimir suggested a place for lunch. We tried it, and it was a great experience. We forgot our fan in his car and he drove back and took it to us while we were having dinner. Extremely great service, highly recommended.

To know all about mezcal. - It’s a good tour, basically it’s the equivalent of typical tequila tours, they give you a tour of the factory, teach you the whole process of making mezcal and take you to see the agave fields. It is a relatively simple tour but has its charm and is worth knowing how one of the national drinks is made.
