The best food tour in the city! - Hands down the best food tour in Oaxaca. I was lucky to be the only one that booked for the day, so I got a personalised experience! I don't know where to start - every part of the tour was excellently thought out, from explaining the methods of cooking to the history of the dish (Oaxaca has a very rich history which is reflected through their food!). The guides were so friendly and hard working, making sure all my questions were answered. They ensured I always had water, and anytime I had to go to the bathroom they'd point me to the right direction. The variety of food was extremely good for the price paid, it wasn't just bites, it was full on street food portions. We went to a market that is more popular with locals than tourists, then even a small mezcal tasting which taught me more than the standard tours that go to the mezcalerias as a day trip. If I could rate this more than 5 stars, I would. Honestly what made it so special were the guides. Thank you for teaching me things about your culture!

We had an awesome time on... - We had an awesome time on this tour with Dora. She was very nice, polite, and informative. The food she took us to was delicious, and we got to try things we wouldn’t have ordered on our own. Highly recommend if you’re visiting Oaxaca, especially for the first time!

Great food and fun! - Such a great food tour in Oaxaca. Everything was super well organised and there was *so much* food, we were completely full by the end. Our guide, Dora, was amazing, really knowledgeable, friendly, and made every stop more interesting with her insights. Definitely one of the best ways to understand the local food scene and history

Oaxaca Eats - This was a wonderful experience. Not just the food which was amazing but food that was totally unfamiliar to us. It was nice to hear the stories of the families running these street and market stands. Dora helped put these foods into a local Oaxaca context.

Amazing tour for authentic food! - Dora was really fun and knowledgable. We went to two markets, a bakery, and stopped at 2-3 food trucks. It was a delightful experience. The first market is just local and it’s where Dora grew up going with her family. This tour is special in that it is truly authentic vs tourist authentic. I was traveling solo and felt very very comfy cozy and safe. There was only one desert I did not like so much. It was for sure the highlight of my trip! Dora even helped me do a little shopping for chocolate, chilis and a straw bag. Sign up! It’s a great way to see the city and experience local life off the tourist path. 🌞🙌🥘💃 Erin from Oregon
