Book this tour! - Best experience on a food tour. Betsy was so friendly and really did her best to make a bunch of gringos feel comfortable exploring local food markets.

This was one of the best... - This was one of the best tours I’ve ever had. Betsy was so kind and knowledgeable and taught us so much about Oaxacan culture and food. She went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and our needs were met. I would highly recommend this tour and suggest doing it your first day to help orient you. The food was AMAZING.

Best local food tour and so much more! - This was a very intimate and informative tour. Betsy gave us so much information about Oaxaca, history, points of interest and of course, delicious street food. I can’t say enough about Betsy and her style. I highly recommend this to her. It was about so much more than food. She was very relaxed, very knowledgeable and a wonderful resource in Oaxaca.

Brilliant Food Tour of Oaxaca - Highly Recommended - I had a wonderful tour today with Betsy - the most knowledgeable, passionate and fun guide you could ask for. Betsy grew up in the markets as a kid so she knows them like the back of her hand. And this tour was the perfect balance of food, drink and culinary history - so you left feeling like you had a great understanding of the Oaxaca food scene and got to taste some incredible food along the way without being overwhelmed with too much information or falling into a food coma by the end of it. The whole vibe is lively, spontaneous, warm and friendly. If I had more time in the city, I'd be booking another tour for sure. Highly recommended.

Christian was an... - Christian was an excellent guide for myself and my parents. It was our first time in Oaxaca and gave us such a good introduction to the city and its food culture. We got to see 3 very different markets plus a chocolate tasting at the end, and it was very well-paced, with several chances to sit at each stop. My advice to other travelers, come hungry because the food just keeps coming! Thanks for such a nice day!

A wonderful tour of Oaxacan specialties! - A fantastic experience! Daniela was a great tour guide and knew all the best spots to try in the markets. We sampled cafe de olla, tamales, molote de platanes, garnachitas, memelas, grasshoppers, moles, and so, so much more. Everything was delicious and it was so fun navigating the markets with someone knowledgable!
