- Oaxaca - Gather in downtown Oaxaca. Once equipped with helmets and high-quality bikes, the journey to Santo Domingo Tomaltepec (16 km or 10 miles one way) will commence.
- Santa Maria del Tule - Midway to the lake, a brief restroom stop and water break will be taken before proceeding.
- Santo Domingo Tomaltepec - Arrive at the charming…
- Oaxaca - Gather in downtown Oaxaca. Once equipped with helmets and high-quality bikes, the journey to Santo Domingo Tomaltepec (16 km or 10 miles one way) will commence.
- Santa Maria del Tule - Midway to the lake, a brief restroom stop and water break will be taken before proceeding.
- Santo Domingo Tomaltepec - Arrive at the charming square in Santo Domingo Tomaltepec village, pausing briefly at the local church before continuing on the cross-country trail.
- Santo Domingo Tomaltepec - After 90 minutes from the start and some uphill trails, the lake will be reached.
- Santo Domingo Tomaltepec - Dismount the bikes to enjoy the scenic views and explore the natural surroundings by the lake.
- Santa Maria del Tule - Remount the bikes and begin the descent into the valley, which is predominantly downhill.
- Mercado Gastronómico de Santa María del Tule - Arrive at Santa Maria del Tule and head directly to the food market for a well-deserved lunch. Please note that food and drinks are not included.
- Tule Tree - Post-lunch, visit the enormous Tule tree to learn about its history and significance. There will be time to explore the square and gardens before resuming the bike ride. Admission fee is included.
