This tour was designed with a simple goal: to let you experience the true allure of Japan.
The meeting point is Nagano Station, but if you require a different pick-up location, please inform us — we are accommodating!
Our first destination is Ganshoin Temple in Obuse, where you can admire Hokusai’s stunning ceiling painting, crafted during his later years. Next, we’ll visit the Hokusai Museum, also in Obuse. It’s an excellent spot to learn about his life and art, and the charming streets nearby are ideal for a leisurely stroll.
To conclude the day, we’ll head to Pompoko-no-Yu, a hot spring in Nakano City. This area is renowned as the birthplace of composer Shinpei Nakayama. You can unwind in the soothing waters while taking in a picturesque view. There’s also a restaurant on-site. (Please note that meals are not included in the tour price).
After enjoying the onsen, we’ll transport you back to Nagano Station, or you can request a different drop-off location.
