Dunn’s River Falls and Park - Experience the world-famous Dunn’s River Falls, where you can climb the falls in a human chain led by experienced Falls Guides. Dunn’s River Falls Park offers the perfect setting for fun and relaxation for the entire family, with delightful new discoveries around every corner. Your friendly resident guide will lead you to the beach where the tour begins. The total climb from the beach to the top is approximately 600ft (183 meters). Along the way, there are pools for photo opportunities and frolicking. Let the cascades embrace you as you ascend. Pause at the ‘massage parlour’ to enjoy the soothing effects of the water as it flows to the sea. There are exit points along the way if you wish to stop – if so, meet up with the rest of your group at the finish. For those less adventurous, observe the activities from the “safe” vantage point of the terrace or deck. Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes.

Rose Hall Great House - The Rose Hall Great House is an early 18th-century plantation home situated on a high elevation over thousands of acres in Rose Hall, Montego Bay. Once owned by the infamous and one of the most notorious plantation owners in Jamaica, Annie Palmer, who owned hundreds of slaves, the house became haunted after her gruesome death in 1831. The house is eerie even in daylight. There is no stop at the Rose Hall Great House on your way to Negril, but your tour guide will share its history and slow down for photo opportunities.
-
Greenwood Great House - The Greenwood Great House, a plantation home, was built in the early 18th century. Like many other Great Houses in Jamaica, it was constructed at a high elevation, a strategy used during the plantation era for overseeing the plantation and security purposes. Unlike the Rose Hall Great House, this house is not haunted and offers a more peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The history and architecture of the house are truly captivating. As you pass by, feel free to take photos when your tour guide slows down.

Columbus Park Museum - Located in the town of Discovery Bay, Columbus Park was originally named Puerto Seco “Dry Harbour” by Christopher Columbus in 1494 when he and his men landed on the island. They initially couldn’t find fresh water to drink but later discovered it about 5 miles west of the town, naming the location Rio Bueno “Good River”. The town of Puerto Seco was renamed Discovery Bay in 1947, as it was where the Spanish, led by Christopher Columbus, landed when they invaded the island on May 4, 1494. The park features several old relics and artifacts on display (currently closed for renovations). There will be a brief stop to take photos and capture the rich history of this historic town.

Ocho Rios - Known as the heartbeat of the garden parish of St. Ann, the resort area of Ocho Rios is a paradise for nature lovers. Once thought to be watered by eight rivers, as its name suggests, Ocho Rios offers a lush landscape of caves, gardens, rivers, and white sand beaches. The name Ocho Rios actually derives from “Las Choreras,” meaning “waterfalls,” reflecting the many waterfalls in the area. From the Fern Gully, located in the remains of an old riverbed, to the tiered waterfalls of Dunn’s River, Blue Hole, and Secret Falls, some of Jamaica’s most popular attractions, Ocho Rios draws thousands of visitors back to the island’s most romantic and picturesque resort area.

Runaway Bay - This tour takes you through one of the most popular towns on the island. Runaway Bay is naturally beautiful and is certainly one of the most scenic areas in Jamaica. It is nestled between the stunning, crisp coastline on one side and the lush green mountains on the other. There is much debate about how Runaway Bay got its name. Some believe it was named because it was where the last group of Spanish soldiers fled from during their retreat from the attacking British troops led by Governor Ysassi after the 1655 British invasion of Jamaica. Others argue it was the escape route used by slaves from inland plantations to flee to Cuba. Get your cameras ready as you explore this area.
